Absolutely. They were very friendly. We stayed behind to clap the players and were some of the last to leave the stand and as we left three young girl stewards thanked us as we left and hoped we had a safe journey home. Doesn't cost anything to be polite and friendly.

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

Teams do it. Every season isn't going to be more than successful than the last, it isn't possible. There's no shame in thinking this year we will rebuild, we will get used to the new structure, we will bring in better players, etc. If you believe every season is going to be more successful than...

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

Not sure how you can read bitterness in anything I've said there. I'm saying why is a season of consolidation worse under Robins than a season of consolidation under a new coach? That's what you're advocating because of the amount of games already played. As stated I expected a consolidation...

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

It was basically because he wasn't SISU. Never sung his silly song. Being in the team photo confirmed what a prick he was.

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

Chances are, even with Robins, we wouldn't have shown the same progress we have over recent years for a few different reasons. New coaching regime, new players, etc. Whatever, there are a hundred different reasons. So this would have been a season of consolidation. And, there's nothing wrong...

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

Haha. So potentially no matter how shit* we are this season with the new guy then it was still the right decision? *Hopefully, it won't be shit.

    Frank Lampard Rumours

We'll have to agree to disagree then. I think Lampard is all 'name' without any managerial substance. If it is him, then I hope I'm wrong and he is a success for all our sakes.

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

Total rubbish. Fans wouldn't have travelled 400 miles plus in their numbers yesterday if that was the case. If the trigger has been pulled then things have to be better than under Robins or what was the point? Where do you think Robins would have got us this season?

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

More than enough time to get into the playoffs. You can't want the current manager ousted and not expect the new guy to do surpass what we already had.

What’s your expectation for the new guy?

Be interesting what the Robins Out crew will come up with. If they didn't expect anything less than play offs with Robins then they can't seriously expect anything less with their new man. In fact, we should be surpassing what we expected Robins to achieve this season as the new guy should be...

    Frank Lampard Rumours

I'm sure. Who will have the final decision? Mental that people are suggesting the guy who knows nothing about football won't have the ultimate say who is our next manager. It's his toy, he'll do what he wants.

    Robins has to go…

Probably. He can strike this year off.

    Frank Lampard Rumours

True. Robins has gone. However, if Robins went due to us languishing at the bottom of the league then there's no point in appointing someone who, based on their previous record, isn't going to significantly improve our position. Whoever we appoint will be a gamble but at least try and load the...

    Frank Lampard Rumours

Those who want Lampard seem to use the phrase, "he did alright at Derby" as their proof he will be the perfect fit for Coventry City.

    Frank Lampard Rumours

Totally agree. Lampard's reputation as a player rather than a manager seems to be the driver here. It's easy to think how King (I now refuse to use his first name) would be seduced by that player reputation and the "name".

Guys next to us claimed it was a nailed on appointment. Done and dusted. Hopefully not.

Similar. I was in a MacDonalds after the game and again a few of their fans were complimentary on our second half performance. All of then said it was mad to sack Robins and they would all have taken him if not for their new guy, who they seem to love.

No, the guy who knows nothing about football is.
