This Lot Won't Leep Us Up

How many time have we seen opposition players take the ball and draw fouls at the back end of games to kill time and earn the win. He did that fairly well last night.

This Lot Won't Leep Us Up

The reason we started to surrender in midfield was that Rose dropped and he and Turnbull worked together to stop Akinfenwa. To be fair, until they paired up on him(sandwiched him for headers), he won every header. I think its credit to Slade that he reacted and rectified the problem.

    Beckham

He must have upset someone at one of the tabloids for this to come out. He could do no wrong previously.

    Lee Burge

What about when he threw the ball to the centre half with 2 men on him 5 yards outside the box! shocker.

    Louvre Attack

I have a chap that comes into my office who is from Rwanda and worked for the Red Cross at the time. I can't imagine the horrors that he witnessed and hope I never have to.

The lad I usually ride with is like that. I asked him once as we were going up a hill how he'd manage if he was giving his son a piggy back to compensate for my extra weight!

    Louvre Attack

I'm sure most of us are of an age where we can remember the IRA waging their terror campaigns across the country. Have we become more sensitive to it nowday's? The threat isn't any higher now that it was in the 70's and 80's I wouldn't have thought, if anything its probably less over here.

That'll be the pitches through the gate right over the back then. Doubt the locals will be too chuffed with it there.

Things you remember from back in the day?

Another pool meadow favourite - Sailor sam. He used to scare me whenever I saw him. Always wore with sailors suit or Army gear.

Things you remember from back in the day?

As kids we used to pull the tickets out of the machine really hard as it printed to see who could get the longest one before it cut the ticket off.

    Michael Folivi

The club did watch him a few times in the Coventry minor league and did nothing to progress it. He went to Strachan's and someone tipped the club off that other clubs were interested in him and the club took him straight on. Does make you wonder what the scouts are doing at junior level...

Things you remember from back in the day?

People outside football matches with signs saying 'The end of the world is nigh' and the like. Always used to see them and they've all but disappeared these days.
