    Venus interview

No, no , no. It's always the manager who is at fault. Managers at our club get such an easy ride because if they fail the fans will just blame the owners. Get a grip.* * Obviously I'm not being serious but there are some 1%ers on here who keep repeating this claptrap ad nauseum.

    Venus interview

He's on the board and indicated that although the club needs a new manager he doesn't know what the club is going to do. Utter shambles.

Appearances by players 21 or under in the football league this season so far

Age doesn't matter. Young or old it's only quality that matters. Unfortunately our squad is shit across all age ranges.

New Striker- Loan - Jack McBean

Landon was retired but he came out of retirement for the last few games of the MLS season when LA Galaxy had injuries. He's more than good enough for L1 but I would imagine wages would be an issue.

    When SISU leave ....

Nobody mentioned it to me. I just noticed from your Avatar that you joined the Forum in Feb 2008 which was two months after SISU bought the club in Dec 2007.

    When SISU leave ....

Will this forum continue after SISU leave? SISU bought the club in Dec 2007 and this forum started up just two months later. Coincidence?

    Season ticket blackout

Unless the club is acquired by Wasps. You previously said you would stop supporting ccfc if that happened. You super supporter you.

    League 2 beckons

Nick, your positing history is littered with derogatory statements about Gilbert, the CT, Wasps, CCC, Higgs etc., without providing any evidence whatsoever. That's fine. You can express whatever opinions you like. But it's rather stupid for you to then assert that other people have to put up...

    No Fire and no Desire

Strachan ... amazing player ... not a great man manager. But in reality the manager's performance is very much clouded by the quality of players at his disposal. When we had great players Strachan looked great, when we had bad players he looked awful. Same for Robins - he only looked good...

Your expectations for the rest of the season

Assuming SISU stay my prediction is for a finish somewhere between 17th and 22nd. I think there is every possibility we could go down especially if SISU sell one or two of our better players in January.

Poor recruitment in pre season. It's been a cruel, cruel Summer ....

    No Fire and no Desire

A Bananarama reference from a fan of Marillion. Who'd have thought it? In all seriousness though I agree we could well be relegated unless we bring in a "proper" manager. Having said that, we could be relegated anyway because the current squad is woefully short of quality especially in attack.

Venus, not good enough for Division One

MV said he has no idea if he has any money to strengthen the squad when the window re-opens. Leaving the manager in the dark would be bad under normal circumstances but in our case MV is also a member of the board of directors. I wonder when the board last held a meeting? The club is an utter...

    Knowl ....

I said before the season started that our forward line lacks quality and we would struggle to score goals unless we strengthened at the end of August. We didn't strengthen. Consequently when the defence is on form we can sometimes get a draw or even scrape a win. When the defence has an off day...

    Robbie Keane

Keane's salary was more than $3m last season. He won't be coming.

    Robbie Keane

I have watched quite a lot of Robbie this past season. I think his legs have gone unfortunately, too many niggling injuries. Heart says yes, head says no. Not even for L1.

    Wasps breach agreement with bondholders

Wasps are going to hit financial problems very soon as I predicted last year. Their losses this year are even bigger than last year. Realistically I don't see any way they can meet the EBITDA covenant which takes effect next year. The ticket revenue figures show that the boost in attendances is...

    New SISU Article.

Wow - talk about desperate. To justify your ridiculous argument that Soton are unsustainable you now quote a £30m debt that they had BEFORE they went into administration, plus a £30m INVESTMENT in a new training ground. You really are a complete chump if you think they can be counted as losses...
