    Mowbray, Go or Stay?

I cannot see him resigning - he's not here for money, he's here to rebuild his reputation which will not happen if he walks away now. He needs us to be a success. Like a desperate gambler racking up losses, his only way back is to stay at the table. My sense is that if we do not beat either...

    Chris Anderson

I had a pint with Anderson last year, not long after his appointment. I asked him how, as someone with no experience in running an organisation (he is an acaedmic) he was going to be able to run a club like CCFC. He didn't seemed frazed by the challenge. But now, on the basis of the Ops Director...

    Tony Mowbray

Thing is that a new manager could well come in and improve things, get us off the bottom, but in 12 months' time nothing will really have changed and we'll be back where we started. The graph is very revealing; the club is failing and has been for many years; this is reflected in the general...

Yeah, mock now.....won't be smiling when they grab one each in their 2-0 win at the Ricoh this season!!!!!

    Attempted abduction

If true (and even if not in true in this case, let's face it - this does happen) then it makes the "paedo" chants on Sat look a bit stupid and tasteless.

No, but luckily he's playing for us instead ....

    Millwall Fan

Never seen anything quite like it....was he thinking of storming the away end and taking on 700+ City fans single-handed?

Which is what some on here wanted CCC to do....when they decided not to do so, you'd think that it was the worse administrative decision since King Herod took an interest in the infant mortality rates in Judea.

Can someone explain this to me??

Indeed. If we splashed a bit of money on a Turner or Reda type player, I'd have a lot more confidence. We only have one defender over 22 and he's a 34-year old carthorse. We are crying out for experience and physical presence.

    Mowbray quote explains all....

No. He only came here to re-build his reputation and engineer a step back towards top level management. He won't do that by deliberately underachieving. He's giving it a good go here, but he does seem to have lost his way.

Can someone explain this to me??

First choice CBs are Willis and Turnbull. I've seen enough of Willis to know he is not a full back. Ricketts as first choice on the bench, as can also fill in at RB if Sterry needs to come off. I'd bring in another CB to provide cover / competition too, which I why I was hoping the Finn would be...

    Mowbray quote explains all....

For those who point to the "2 games per week since the start of the season", do remember that's the same for every other club in our division. The explanation for the fact we're second bottom clearly lies elsewhere.

No Tunbull? Think McCann is injured too. For me it's A flat 4-4-2: RCC, Sterry, Turnbull, Willis, Page, Bigi, VladGad, Jones, Reid, Sordell, Adgei.

Can someone explain this to me??

I agree that we desperately need another creative winger. We also need to move to a back 4 immediately, and I'm not alone in thinking this(the CT team predictor shows 442, as I myself submitted, being the choice of these submitting formations this morning). Personally I think we need to give...

Cian Harries - A Masterpiece In Terrible Defending

Well Harries will maybe make the grade as a decent footballer, but that's in the future - he's 18. We shouldn't really be **expecting** him to play like a reliable, senior first team regular until he's 21/22. Bonus if he does do so, but not fair to expect a kid to cut it in the rough school of...
