Normally I park on Beresford Avenue next to the Unipart depot. There’s a jetty past a primary school and a bridge across the A444 onto Lythalls Lane. It’s about a 10 minute walk. I’ve found spaces along there even when we’ve had a 30k crowd.
Really! Exactly the same pattern emerging as our other seasons following relegation. I’ve been to a few games this season and not seen anything to give me confidence even when we’ve won. Don’t score enough and struggle to put the lower quality teams away. See you in Conference North under...
If anyone bleats on about the fans who don’t turn up, today is the reason why. I’d wager that we don’t even make the play offs from here. Makes me feel sick to the stomach.
I think we’ve changed our game plan at home, allowing teams to come on to us more and playing on the break.
That said, the same style should be effective away, though potentially we are playing a bit deeper and inviting more pressure.
It means repeating our form from the last 6 games, though 12 wins from 18 (assuming no draws) is a tough ask. To do it I think we're heavily reliant on improving our away form which is mediocre at best.
Don’t know if you ever look at the site SkyscraperCity? There’s a thread dedicated to Coventry, annoyingly under the Birmingham construction heading. It gives a brilliant flavour of everything going on in Coventry. They even mention SBT from time to time.
There’s so much going on, I just...
Historic Coventry have plans for a riverside walk all the way from the city centre to the Charterhouse. It’s part of an overall £30m spend they are planning across a number of Coventry’s historic sites.
Spot on and the city centre is about to get sorted anyway. Now we just need the Sky Blues to get a couple of promotions before 2021 and all will be good!
Going to be on I’m a Celebrity apparently. Interesting to see if any Cov related stories come out.
Easily the best player we’ve seen since our relegation from the premier.
I'm afraid it's nailed on for Stoke to win it. Unfortunately the pervading mood of Coventry residents that 'nothing good ever happens to Cov' will continue.
Until Coventry people have faith in their own City and want to promote it rather than run it down, then why should outsiders have faith...
Personally I stopped going on a regular basis because it ceased to be enjoyable and because of my own budget constraints. I've never supported NOPM as I don't believe it will achieve anything other than the ultimate demise of the club. I genuinely believe that if SISU somehow manage to get us...
This may be a somewhat simplistic analogy, however who in their right mind would offer to buy someone's property and at the same time settle their mortgage! On that basis, £5 million for the CCFC assets (squad + Ryton + brand) and no offer to take on the debt, feels about right to me. Lower...
