    Cov Rugby 2024 - 2025

The more people that back Cov, the bigger the crowds and the more money they have will eventually transform us into a club that the cretins at the RFU have to take notice of 🤷‍♂️

Match Thread Supporter's Meeting with Doug King Match Thread

What I deduce from all this is, Not everything is always as it seems. Our results WERE trending towards relegation. Football players have too much power these days. There is next to no loyalty in the game. We still have a half decent set of players that with a couple off additions in Jan can...

Match Thread Sunderland - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 9th Nov

I thought Collins did well yesterday, the two goals he conceded were quality strikes. The majority of the team did pretty well, the only negatives for me would be Thomas’ awful passing and BTA’s headless chicken impersonation again. Lets hope Wright isn’t out for long 🤞

Sunday Times take on sacking of Robins

Time will tell in all this. I thought we actually looked better organised yesterday, there was a solid structure to the formation at least. Its a pity there wasn’t a way of giving MR a role upstairs perhaps and brought him in a proper assistant, if only for the time it took him to get over his...

Overall good performance from City! Not overwrought, always in it. Two wonder goals really from Blunderland. Much deserved point.

I do wonder slightly if this bombshell was announced purposely when our next match couldn’t be much further away from Coventry but then I guess he could have waited till the international break if he was chickening out altogether. Is Bidwell back ? I hope so. I’d like to see Torp ahead of Saka too.

    If the players......

Thats a bit of an obvious answer really. Most of us have been around long enough to see multiple managers at the football club and countless players come and go. The ongoing status and longevity of the club is paramount and an upturn in performance and results will soon override personnel change.

Right who's the next manager then?

I don’t even like the term head coach. The thought of some yes man coming in as an addition to that gaggle of clipboard carrying, tablet toting, stopwatch swinging bunch of no marks is quite nauseating.

    Head Coach rather than Manager

As Nana used to say…..what a load of old shit !

OFFICIAL: Mark Robins has been sacked

Living some of the year in a multi supporter, multi ethnic environment in Spain, the overwhelming response to sacking MR here has been astonishment. People can’t quite believe that after two recent Wembley visits , beating the likes of Leicester and Leeds, Wolves ( and Man Utd )etc, we have come...

Can Anyone Remember A Worse Performance?

I’ve seen two dozen worse than that, probably more. We still had the chances to win that last night.

    Thomas Asante

This was about BTE and quite frankly, he’s on my list of….’ Thought you were going to be better, but can now see why your previous club moved you on ‘ …..for money !

Rhys Carr - Interim Head Coach

We haven’t got anyone who could make a two footed challenge so you’re gonna be frustrated.

Rhys Carr - Interim Head Coach

Fair play to those travelling to Blunderland, you have a more forgiving nature and deeper pockets than me. I’ll be back for that easy one against Sheffield United 😬

    Who's been in Kings ear?

It’s my fault, I bought a couple of fucking season tickets this time around. In reality, the blame here lies with the person responsible for blowing a lot of money on players this Summer who blatantly are nowhere near as good as what we had. Plus that same person who didn’t strengthen the...
