Sorry that’s a mistype. I meant the mentality of player, though I can accept that goes down as quality does up maybe. I think Wright and MvE are OK but cost a lot. The rest I could take or leave.

I’m not sure you can make that argument for anyone aside from EMC

I think the median quality went up, Kelly Godden etc out and younger players in. But the first team is much the same as it was last year when everyone’s fit.

I think overall the quality of player and value for money has gone down since he took over tbh.

Just feel we didn’t move the squad on last summer really. Didn’t fill the gaps or upgrade anyone any significant amount.

Him and EMC are the real worries for me. Just for the combo of fee and lack of playing time.

Whoever it is. I thought Austin was head of recruitment. You can’t say everything is the managers job and everyone else gets a free ride.

4/5 summer signings on the bench. Someone’s got to be asking questions of Austin.

Think as it’s likely Carrs last game and it’s a tough one I’d set the challenge of a 0-0 and work from there. I think Lampard will play a 433/4231 anyway, and I don’t think Bidwell looks up to playing 90 mins at the moment so stick 541 again: Collins Lats Thomas Binks MvE Sheaf Eccles Dasilva...

    "Underlying numbers"

That surprises me cos it doesn’t feel like we’ve missed loads of sitters this season.

In fact the more I think about it the more I think some of the money raised should have gone towards increasing pension credit or lowering the threshold, but no idea if the sums add up.

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

Ideally we get someone permanent in cos MvE is likely off in the summer I reckon.

Don’t we have a lot of low quality shots though? Even Saturday when we battered them on shots I don’t remember a huge amount of clear cut chances.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

But that’s a threshold argument. It’s like the old joke: would you sleep with me for £1m? “Yes” would you for £10? “What do you think I am??” We know what you are, we’re just negotiating on price. We agree Elton John shouldn’t get it and people genuinely in need should. I’m open to the idea...

Trump didn’t even get half the vote in basically a two way contest.

The difference between the two is what’s stark. Though what were we doing at corners?
