How many of our fans are based in Coventry?

Born near HR, now living in Bhutan.

    Matches You're Looking Forward To

Good to be back, but there aren't any particularly inspiring home games. Hoping for a good cup tie like Villa at home. I personally also think that the ticket prices are a rip-off for this level. The "fun" away days such as Crewe, Port Vale and MK Dons are about as good as it gets in old...

    We're Coming Home, Are You?

Will wait and see what they charge. I have a notion that cynical SISU may try to capitalise on the current burst of euphoria by taking people to the cleaners, in which case fuck them. I do hope I'm surprised though, and that they keep prices at about 6fields level- in which case I will go-...

    Ticketing Structure

Sixfields prices or I'm not going. They really owe us for all the fucking around they've done, and should be grateful if anybody goes at all.

Football League statement - Coventry City

Get fucking moving then. I'm coming over on me hols tomorrow. Cardiff next week would be good.

    Looks like we're back

Makes me wonder if they do go back, what kind of admission prices they'll be charging. If they stick to Sixfields prices, they'd be in with a chance of boosting those flagging gates. if they go back to ripping people off, fuck them.

    JR Verdict Thread

Might be time for KCiC and SBT to dust off their contingency plans.

    Ricoh Station

Great news. Boost for city centre pubs when we get back to the stadium.

Kcic front bid to buy club

Well done KCIC. And anybody else that's making a positive effort to resolve this bullshit (SBT et al.) Keep them engaged, call their bluff...try anything- you never know what will work, and if nothing else, it just provides further evidence that SISU has no interest in resolving this in a...

Judicial review day 3 - judgement day

Surely "state aid" should come from a state- which CCC is not. Also CCC was acting in the best interests of the local area/economy- which SISU has not- ever.

    who's winning then??

Tell you tomorrow afternoon, although it's by no means a lost cause for the council....any legal bods on this site??

    Who will win?

Going by the CET summaries, the judge comes across as sympathetic to the council side- not unreasonably as the council are at least protecting local interests whereas SISU are just looking for a fast buck. I'm still surprised as I didn't expect him to be. I've been looking at it from all angles...

How far away from Highfield Rd or the Ricoh did you grow up?

HR 0.5 miles. Could see the floodlights from the front bedroom of the house I was born in, and could hear the cheering when City scored in the 60s and 70s.

1987 Quarter final v Sheff Wed

I always found the police at Hillsborough to be the most friendly and helpful. I was quite pissed at the quarter and very pissed at the semi, so only have partial recollection. We headed left after the turnstiles and ended up quite high up on the left near the Wednesday supporters. No probs at...

    A wins a win but...........

City won't win at Crewe on Saturday- I know it to the marrow of my sky blue bones. They can't. It would be too easy. They'll probably stay up, but it will be from a bizarre combination of draws and other teams losing that no mere mortal can forsee. Wank me off with a hand full of stinging...

City fans not as friendly at Brentford as at Sixfields?

Looks like a baffling lack of awareness by TF. Is it really possible that he does not know about the deep rage felt by thousands of former HR/Ricoh attendees? Given some of the total nutters that have followed CCFC over the years, a thrown pint/stool is very moderate behavior- I'm surprised...

Wow that's incredibly bad. Not very good business people these SISU bods are they?

'Series of hotels' to be built at Ricoh Arena

Cracking site for a hotel(s). Guest will be able to visit Tesco or the burnt out ruins of the Rowley Green WMC, or that smelly place next to the stadium.

If we move back to the Ricoh

A few changes I reckon if the next owners (whoever they may be) could introduce to improve the "matchday experience" and boost those shitty gates: 1. Keep to the prices now being charged at 6fields- £9-14 for adults and a few quid for kids- that'd eventually get people back up there again-...
