And 100% of those who rely on them are too stupid to understand the value of experience.

Tbf, united were 3-0 up after an hour when they decided to rest Garnacho, who was bossing the game. If Torps goal had counted, the substitution of Garnacho would probably go down as one of the worst substitutions in history.

Something was definitely wrong at Brighton and Swansea for a player like Gyokeres to be noticed, recruited, and later let go for £1m, and then subsequently to be valued at eu100million He always had the raw materials, height, pace, power, and a bit of skill etc, not to mention a great work...

How the fuck did Dasilva slip through the net???? Seriously though, Brighton are said to have one of the best stat driven recruitment set ups in the country, but they still let Gyokeres go for peanuts. Nothing can beat an experienced eye, look what MR has done with players like Mark...

It's quite feasible that they both could start. EMC could play as a second striker or AM. Much depends on who else we bring in and who may go. Either way I think EMC looks like a great signing (on paper at least) and gives us options and some much needed cover.

Stats have their place, but i think our scouts might actually attend matches and watch players rather than just googling some random stats sight. Or maybe you think anyone with an Internet connection could be a talent scout now?

He would be a great signing. Plenty of experience already, proven at this level, and still young enough for us to develop.

For Premier league football, but their contracts were valid after relegation. Vardy (like many others at Leicester) played in the Champuonship on £80k+ Leicester are paying Daka £75k a week and he only played half a season.

£40k a week wouldn't even get him near the top wages payed to championship players THIS season, never mind 2 seasons time. If you've got parachute payments you could easily pay £40k. Southampton were paying Ward-Prowse £100k a week, and over £40k to a number of others, Leicester were...

Any championship team getting parachute payments. Or any championship club selling players to the Premiership, or rich foreign clubs for big money. Or any championship club with rich backers. £40k a week is £2 million a year, if you sell a Gyokeres type for £20 million your laughing. We...

West ham (or any other Premier league team) could sign him on a free, then sell him back to a championship side next season for 4 or 5 million. If they pay him £40k a week (£2 million a year) they'll easily double their money without him even needing to kick a ball. It's a financial win win...

Exactly this. The lofted diagonal ball to the LB area was a gift for every opposition. In as much as Wright was a good outlet for us due to his height advantage versus his RB marker, the same ball was a danger for us with Dasilver as a LB. (Along with his poor positional sence) (And before...

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

The Law has been made a mockery of in this case though. Law has been weaponised to stand in the way of a democratic process. There was absolutely no way that due process was followed in this case. Even the biggest Trump haters would have to admit that this case was a farce. Hunter Biden and...

You've answered your own question. Roberto Carlos was a world class footballer, which made up for his lack of stature. Dasilva is meh, which does not make up for him being a dwarf.

    Summer transfer window 2024

Torp got dragged at half time against Brum after being as effective as a blind one legged pensioner. I'd say the jury I'd very much out as far as Torp goes. Hopefully a full pre-season will see him make a big impact .

    Transfer Rumour Alan Browne

If he were to pick up an acl injury or break a leg he would find any offers currently on the table from Preston or anyone else, would disappear very quickly. Pulling out of an international game means all his options can remain open. So you cant read anything new into it.
