if you narrow the chasm it’s an interesting question. For example who is the better striker Quinn or Regis. One would get a lot more goals. Or more recently a Godden or a Biamou

Stats will just never, ever, enable you to identify who is the better striker. It can’t for any position but that one in particular is especially nuanced.

The expectation of Simms and Wright is so cliched. Yes, they are tall guys. That doesn’t mean they need to engage in faux aggression and getting in peoples faces. Wright is nowhere near fit. Simms is just not that player. I’d like more goals from them, not meaningless posturing.

Just back. Take aways are that once Torp is fit he’s an exceptional find. If we are 10% more clinical we win away at one of the leagues best sides. Overriding emotion is encouragement. Allen taking some stick but I thought he was ok.
