    Start all over

Don't be silly! It's a huge City, with loads of City fans itching for some success.

    PLEASE NOT CURLE!.... heres why..

Yep, please for God's sake not Curle. Black please - we may as well get some goals and be entertained while going out of existence.

Genuinely does anyone think the play offs are still on

We have a history of blowing it, and I think Carsley may remain in charge. The Board will claim it's "because he's doing so well", but the reality will be that nobody decent would want to manage a club under an embargo. Let's hope Carsley can get the home form fixed despite being a rookie.

What would be on your Bucket List?

Being fluent in another language is definitely one I'd like to do. To find a job I'm passionate about. To manage a football team (easily achievable) To move abroad for a year or two and finally get it out of my system. To have kids and not balls up bringing them up.

    Stuart Linell

Trust me the guy is a wanker.

    mcdonald gets swindon job

Did anyone else get confused and think they'd appointed Kevin Richardson? No? Just me then. Wasn't til I looked at photos of the bloke that I twigged.

Steve Waggott set to leave club....

He's doing a valuable role if you ask me. It's naive to think that all we need in a club is a manager and eleven players.

    Bournemouth Match Thread

Yeesssssssss City! Can we play all of our games away from the Ricoh please?
  9. @richh87

    Carsley, what sre you thinking?!

Silly thread. Very sensible team. 4-4-2 was leaving us exposed to counter-attacks due to the lack of a designated holding player. No room for McDonald in this system. I'd like to see Barton feature a lot more as he scores great goals from distance, but unfortunately he's just too lazy.

    Black

This is what I heard too. But then Reid was seen as a proven Manager back then, rather than a lazy chimp.

Oh I thought the line was "he did well at Leeds and Swindon, but it was because of Poyet". Not sure why people are so desperate to discredit Wise.
  12. @richh87

    Team for tonight

4-5-1 for me, Cody to come on if we're not winning Towle a 4-4-2
  13. @richh87

    Black

Black or Wise. I wouldn't object to Phil Brown - got to remember that the Hull stats Otis posted include the struggle in the Premiership for two (I think that's right) years
  14. @richh87

    Cody recalled..

He should start tonight, and McSheffrey should be dropped.
  15. @richh87

    realistic new managers?!?!

I said so - my opinion. Away teams love coming to the Ricoh as the fans aren't loud due to having 10,000 spread out in a 32,000 seater stadium. I thought the crap atmosphere was accepted by all as a fact. Point is, even Robins had a bad record at the Ricoh - so there's certainly a problem.
  16. @richh87

    realistic new managers?!?!

Dennis Wise pllleeeeeaaaasssseeee. We have a situation where our players are scared to play at the Ricoh because of the shitty hostile atmosphere, and we need a man in charge who exudes confidence. It also helps that the guy is loved by City fans. Step forward Dennis Wise.

    Team for Sat

Just wondering, which one of Clarke and Elliot doesn't produce? Take a look at the goal scoring charts. Also, to play as a winger you need proper pace - if that's where we're suggesting Fleck should go. The guys you've listed above are slow to average, so for Fleck to be 'not too far off' them...

    Team for Sat

I love the look of this. We have problems scoring goals and Barton can score goals no problem. It would add creativity in Fleck, and putting Moussa in there gives added athleticism. We wouldn't be losing anything defensively, as although Jennings goes out, Moussa is much better in that respect...
  19. @richh87

Best player we've signed since we dropped out of the premiership?

Westwood or Richard Keogh for me. Fox couldn't defend and Dann wasn't actually that good while with us - gave several penalties away. Only reason people rate him is he went up to the top flight. As for Gunnarsson, well he's never been that good. Doesn't even start games for Cardiff.
