I think we may go on to regret letting Thorn go - recruitment-wise. For a club with pretty much zero in transfer funds he was a dream come true. Just a shame we couldn't have a co-manager to do the tactics.

Just because Thorn got sacked, doesn't mean EVERYTHING he did was rubbish. He is a really good Scout - and in that capacity, should be at a club above League 1.

IMO this was the players feeling bad that they let Thorn down - and giving their all in his honour. Cracking performance. Want to see Baker in that role for a few games and not McSheffrey.

Got to say - Ball is very mobile for a guy his size. Maybe there is a decent player in there.
