They sold Barton to us for 50 grand!!! Unbelievably stupid.

Yeah - Elliott's proven at higher levels :)

Haha, this forum is obsessed with Stuart Beavon. If he was any good he'd be playing at a higher level by now (he's 28)! We have several players better.

    Will McGoldrick start today?

This. We have some really good squad depth now.

    Is fleck fit yet

He's got the ability though. His last Blunder* was v Middlesbrough at home last season. He also scored the best goal at the Ricoh v Doncaster IMO. *Edit - that was meant to be blinder. Even autocorrect won't accept Bell has ability :)

So, who'd swap Jennings for Clingan?

Clingan looked a good player when he signed - then seemed to stop trying. Jennings thanks because he has a determination about him that sideways Sammy didn't.

Think i'll wait to see who the new Manager is before putting money on it. We certainly have the players though.

    Is fleck fit yet

Baker and McSheffrey are the best examples of players who slack off when not pushed - Bell too actually*. Competition for places is key and will ensure we do well this season IMO. *All very talented IMO, yes even Bell.

Yeah, I think part of it is the songs themselves. There are songs which naturally loop (like that no limit one) and then there are others that naturally come to an end and have to be started all over again. Numbers are important too - need people to be close together also. This is why the...

Loads of cov fans say this, and I half believe it. However, went charity shield recently and sat/stood in man city end with what I guess was there 'noisy' fans. Cuople of decent songs, then just half hearted attempts at blue moon (I think) al la sky blue song, dying mid way. . We are not alone...

Yeah, I think that's because their grounds are far fuller - which means they have fans close to the away support. I can see why they put such a huge gap between the sets of fans at the Ricoh (easier to police things), but it really kills any chance of banter.

Historically you're correct - and I've not said otherwise. What I'm saying is that it can be changed. People from Coventry aren't inherently quieter than people from other parts of the country. Get a few years of success and it would all change as numbers would shoot up and younger generations...
