So what are we capable of then ?

The big difference I feel is that since the Luton game we have tightened up at the back in a way that I could not see happening half way through the match at Kenilworth Road. We looked so shaky in the first half of that game and in all of the opening games with the possible exception of...

    Club Shop

I was going to go into the shop after the game today as I wanted to buy a programme as there is an article in there today on walking football. I forgot to buy one before the game but didn’t envisage a problem with the shop. Unfortunately, the shop was out of bounds straight after the game as the...

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

Just looked it up. The goal was Coop’s first for the club and was scored in the 86th minute. There were 10 000 Grimsby fans there.

    Ball 13 in F.A cup

I think the gate that day was 38 000. Grimsby managed by Lawrie McMenemy were on the up. We beat them 1-0 with a last minute Coop penalty if I remember correctly.

Don’t Birmingham and Solihull RFC play in that area or have they disappeared? I wonder what Moseley fans will think?

Mortimer was a player that Tommy rated highly, but surprisingly wouldn’t get into his best City1X. The midfield he would choose would be Yorath, Powell and Carr.

My Thanks to Ian and Steve of the Nuneaton and Bedworth Sky Blues supporters group for hosting Tommy, Barry Powell and Michael Doyle at the Bedworth Liberal Club last Wednesday evening. I know Tommy really enjoyed himself and the welcome he was given by everyone there. The club (CCFC) is lucky...

I think he meant to say Sixways Worcester. It would be interesting however, if it was Sixfields and the RFU disallowed the move as Northampton already has a rugby club. That certainly wasn’t a consideration when they arrived here as no thought was given to the impact on Cov.

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

As well as the signs, that ‘We are Wasps’ billboard poster by the A444 island needs to go too. It would be good if CCFC could afford to put something advertising our presence over the top of that.
