Yeah it’s early days but looks like he’s not suited to our style at all. Looks like an old school left back that hasn’t moved with the tight, intricate keep-ball style that the championship has evolved into over the past few seasons. It seems to be a punt down the line of old.

Haha true there was a lot of bad defending in that game obviously but no individual piece of defending was as bad as whatever Bidwell was doing against QPR. Hopefully put it down to rustiness but just bizarre.

How on earth can people say he’s better defensively than Maatsan? He’s played a game and a half and already produced the worst bit of defending I’ve seen all season. Not writing him off but can’t see what you lot have seen to suggest he’s a better defender than Maatsan yet.

The guy scores goals and his general team play is great as well. His goals got us here and he’s carried it on. Bloody good looking too. 10/10 would recommend

I think LWB is his most valuable position for us tbh. Wasn’t tested much defensively but we look so much more balanced there than an out of position Dabo.
