Sorry but Rotherham were very good second half.

Tbf Thomas did that just after and got booked for it. Ref was poor in those few minutes. Should never have given them the throw in Thomas was raving about.

They move to the same space a lot I think, getting in each others way. Wright makes the Gyok run wide quite a lot so it’s less of an issue as Simms tends to sit central.

I think it’s this. We’re playing really slow careful stuff. That’s surely tactical. Tbf we’ve had good possession stats and although it doesn’t feel like it creating a fair few chances, just not converting them currently.

I don’t think we were anywhere near as bad as most are making it out but we really lack leaders who can grab the game by the scruff of the neck or anyone with a really high work rate.

Shared the same thing on the Wright thread. I wish I could see stuff like this in real time but honestly I can’t. As others have said, it’s obvious something was up and Wright and Simms were intentionally standing off, and I noticed a few other bits, but most of that I missed!

Good point but then I struggle to see how he could get added time so wrong and blowing at exactly 4 after the added time was a conscious decision.

Just infuriating that time wasting was all but irradiated early in the season (still seems to be in the prem) yet today was some of the worst I’ve ever seen and the ref seemed absolutely determined to make himself look bough and paid for.

Just bizarre.

From what MR said in interview he was happy with them as they blocked the channels for Norwich to play out. Fans see that as not pressing but sometimes there’s a bigger game plan.
