Is that not just down to mostly people with symptoms going to get tested? I don't have symptoms so have little interest in getting tested. So if there were 10 of me and say 4 had symptoms, 4 of me went and got tested, 2 of me showed positive for covid but the other 2 of me just had flu that...

Don't understand a lot of that but to dumb it down for me does that mean that the people who think they may have had it in December could have had an older, less easily transmissible form of covid-19?
