Palmer is better than O'Hare, but not good enough for us?
Have to say, that you can see Palmer creating chances on a regular basis. Obviously he is not an O'Hare in terms of engine, but I like what I've seen of him. Want O'Hare back asap. but Sheaf, Hamer, Palmer and Allen is ok for us (particularly at home to the lesser lights)
Palmer was very good todayPalmer is 26 and several managers have deemed him worthy of starting 70 league games.
Doyle has just turned 19 and has nearly stated 50 games
Well I would like mid table. It depends what your aim is this season. I’ll be grateful to get through the season intact considering how it started and now with O’Hare, Eccles and McF out for basically the season
Palmer was very good today
we’re gonna need him now
He started alright, vanished completely, did a couple of nice flicks and passes, but was generally pretty useless I thought.Palmer was very good today
we’re gonna need him now
It's because they're built up as promotion certs in the other games, so it comes as shock when they're shown... not to be.I struggle with the idea of destroying our players every time we lose .
These players have lost 4 in the last 18 games , come on people cut some slack

Some of the Sheffield United fans on the way back to the car were very impressed with us . Which I found strange I suppose you see your own team differentlyIt's because they're built up as promotion certs in the other games, so it comes as shock when they're shown... not to be.
He was average like the rest of the team.Palmer was very good today
we’re gonna need him now
I'll repeat, it's no shame for us to lose to one of the teams who expect to get promoted. Part of the reason we looked poor was because we were poor, but part of the reason was they made us look poor. Got to give them some credit too!Alot of Sheffield United fans on the way back to the cafe were very impressed with us . Which I found strange I suppose you see your own team differently
I’d take mid table especially with Callum injuryIt's because they're built up as promotion certs in the other games, so it comes as shock when they're shown... not to be.
I was impressed with how organised they were .. hard to play againstI'll repeat, it's no shame for us to lose to one of the teams who expect to get promoted. Not how the radio 5 guy saw it or robinsDon't let that last 15 minutes take away from the fact we were well and truly beaten by the better team.
Too many under par performances today.
Since the world cup break

Yup, a well drilled team with a bit of flair and punch which turns on when needed.I was impressed with how organised they were .. hard to play against
And on it too. Constantly snapping at our heels and fighting for every ball.I was impressed with how organised they were .. hard to play against
And the o hare injury was a big thing , changed our evening reallyYup, a well drilled team with a bit of flair and punch which turns on when needed.
Where would you strengthen? And the o hare injury was a big thing , changed our evening really
That alone is more than most of our substitutions have done all season.
He did well though. Beat his man a couple of times. Great ball into the box on his left. He actually offers pace and clearly scares the opposition.
Hmm, maybe, although I had felt after we opened with a bright couple of minutes they were starting to impose themselves anyway, already. We'll never know. And the o hare injury was a big thing , changed our evening really
We need a centre half, attacking midfielder (possibky a central midfielder too ) and striker for meWhere would you strengthen?
Regardless takeover or not s couple will come in on loan
Ping a ball back post for waghornYou can see why eccles and Burroughs were preferred to Dabo now. I cant recall him finding a city player when he came on.
How does he ‘clearly’ scare the opposition? There‘s blatantly no sign of that at all seeing as he’s barely played
If godden gets back I think we should be fine. Definitely think we need a centre back and a midfield playerWe need a centre half, attacking midfielder (possibky a central midfielder too ) and striker for me
That's with the current side , we can get away with the wing backs we have I think
We've played a lot worse than today and got a result!I struggle with the idea of destroying our players every time we lose .

I meant Palmer is better than Allen, but not good enough to replace O'hare. (too much guiness being downed in this house)Palmer is better than O'Hare, but not good enough for us?

Legs in the air could be a good thing!Who heard the "fingers in the air" comment regarding the takeover.. and where?....
And could have been mis-heard??....
"Things are in the air".... which obviously isn't good....
He’s just not good enoughI think we should give tav a go
mark robins is clearly way more qualified but he’s raw and is worth a punt more often from gjr bench
He’s just not good enough
