Today is the day that's killed our chance. Now effectively 10th, so have to overcome WBA, Preston, Norwich then one of the playoff teams to get in. Can't see it happening.

I disagree. There are zero guarantees that the chasing pack will win all their games or even pick up any significant points. We win on Monday and other results go our way, we're in 6th place.

The Championship this season is so unpredictable, I'll say we're not in the playoffs when we are mathematically incapable of getting there.

And with Watford losing 3-2 at home to Huddersfield and a big bank holiday crowd all things are pointing to a home win on Monday. If supporting them for 40 years has taught me anything it’s that I am sure that is how it will play out

Well we had a couple of gilt edged chances in that game, just one of which taken, would have won it.
Just lacked the quality today...lots of passes went astray.
Vik and Godden were hardly in the game.
Disappointing afternoon.

And that’s it really. We do lack the quality for top 6. Top 12 absolutely but not top 6. I’m happy with that this year

So many still have each other to play as well, I think both Millwall and Blackburn will drop out, it's far from over. I can't believe how defeated some seem to be.

We need to win our next 5 against Watford, Blackburn, QPR, Birmingham & Reading. 15 points may be enough. All winnable games. Can maybe afford to drop 2 points in one of those but will need something against Middlesbrough.

Allen out for season

Big miss. If only Doug used the ten days he had in the January window to sign some reinforcements

I was reading on here that we’d take a point today, we get a point and yet our whole team is shite?

The last couple of games has at least given a glance at what life is going to be like without Gyökeres. Hope he comes back from Sweden (or his own head) soon.
Ideally, Godden would be 4th choice next season with other strikers bought in and Walker and Tavares moved on.

In fairness, point today in isolation isn't the worst result in the world. If we'd beaten Stoke it would have been a very good point. Problem is that we need wins to give ourselves any chance of top 6. We'll fall short.

I agree, it wasn’t me saying it

Not end of world but really have to take chances like we had today. Godden should have scored but hamer especially messed up. First he delayed shit and allowed keeper to close angle then he put it down middle instead of corner.

Misse opportunity perhaps although Swansea had their chances too.

Still in with a shot though. Looking forward to Monday.
