If the venue was 30 miles away what would the real cost of a season ticket be?
Price of season ticket = £300
Price of additional petrol (23 games with 50 mile round trip over and above 10 mile trip to Ricoh at 135p/litre and 35mpg = £8.77 per game) =£200
Nice!
Why do you have to be such a negative prick?
What worries me is that some people seem to hope for any takeover to fail if it makes them somehow feel they ve proved a point

I haven't got that impression from anyone. Even those who have leaned more in the clubs bias in recent months have conceded that it's time for them to go.

If there is a way of making it known we won't stand for moving away then I'll be fully behind that. No doubt.
But if we do move, it's likely I'll go.
And I'd suggest it would still be our club. You'd still look for results no? Because you can be certain if it was Northhampton it wouldn't be their club.

simple question.....
If ccfc were to relocate to an alternative venue outside of the city say hinckley, birmingham, nene park etc would you go to our new "home" ground?
I wont
Some people think that a takeover will solve everything and are just happy to get rid of SISU regardless.
If I was the administrator I would assess both packages on offer and go with what is best for the club.

SISU are not best for the club they had a punt messed up big time have alienated the council, ACL, Higgs and most of the fans (imho) so i can not see a way back for them now they have burnt to many bridges and people can now see what their whole plan was just to own the Ricoh arena at a minimal cost
How do you know this. Its a guess based on your opinion.
How about SISU bought the club assuming promotion to the PL would increase the value of the club and they would sell it on at a profit.
Things didn't happen as planned and they then had a downward spiral as a result of declining incomes.
It's my opinion, but I don't really know the answer.
With due respect! the Sky Blues ceased to be "our club" the moment Sisu bought the Football club. and whether we play at the Ricoh or elsewhere, the club will never feel like "ours"as long as SiSu remain as owners.
The price in my opinion has always been irrelevant, you either want to go or you dont. If were winning and the buzz is there no one gives a fuck about the price.

It was reported on "Midlands Today" that the "Sky Blues"were taking the owners of the Stadium to court, but no such thing is happening in my opinion, it is sisu finance
Who are taking ACL to court, I have felt that SISU have always been "THEM" and ACL and the Name "SKY BLUES" US, Our owners have not connected with us, kept us in the dark, and treated us in general with contempt, and of no consequence, to their undivulged Business Plans regarding OUR "Sky Blues"
Fans with the real interests of the club at heart would want the Administrator to look at Sisu's record at this club- which is dire.
Or are you suggesting that anyone with an 'incumbent' contractor doesnt consider their actual track record in the previous term?
Can you (Torch, Stupot) give me an honest answer?
Do you seriously want Sisu here anymore given their track record?? the club is at its lowest point for 50/60 years FFS.

The club was down and out before SISU arrived. Remember they saved us from administration. I can see where they have gone wrong but anyone else coming in needs to compare their plan against SISUs. Otherwise they may struggle as well.

I couldn't disagree more to be honest.
Coventry City is 'my' or 'our' club. Regardless of who owns the club.
We may not agree with all the shit that is going on, but come game day, whether we go or not, we look to see how 'we' are doing.

Just not sure if I would do the same for Northampton Rovers
Immediate plan would be to get out of League 1-acquiring the half stake in ACL, and with it the ability to count all of its revenue towards CCFC turnover, would need to be done quickly to keep the playing budget competitive.
The revenue might count towards ccfc revenue and therefore enable a greater wage budget, it will wont fund it so an invested/owner/etc will have to fund it. Thy money won't he a gift and quite likely be in the form of a loan adding to our liabilities.
Or me we need to get at least half of ACL, restructure the wage bill without breaking the bank.
It's alright saying let's spend money to get promotion....then what? Spend to stay up? Spend to push for play offs?
We need to start to stand on our own feet otherwise we'll face this situation again in a few years time.
I think that's nonsense. I don't think there's anyone who doesn't want a fresh start with new owners. I do. I just don't want ACL involved either.
Everything and all revenue streams under the same roof has to be the ultimate goal but just not in the unscrupulous hands of a semi anonymous hedge fund with tiered layers of holding companies owning separate entities of the club within an unfathomable secretive structure !
If someone has enough money, they can blow them both out for me, that would be ideal !!
