Fair do's, I was just wondering what angle you were coming from.
Not too sure about the academies and medical staff, as I am sure there would be problems re precedence and so on.
Ticketing system shared costs.
Administration costs.
Shop and staff. Retail costs of merchandise.
Training facilities academies. Medical staff.
I could go on ............
I read their bulletin boards and the problem seems over.
I guess they will always loose the local fans as they move on.
I talk to dozens of travelling fans every match as they arrive and most think it is the best thing that could have happened.
A lot of fans traveled distance anyway (furthest canvassed Broadstairs) and again it's the best thing for their club.
They seem to make a day of it. It's like one of our away days.
Some say we never had a home they could call their own and now they have and they can buy into it.

Wasps had an option of building a stadium down south in conjunction with a local council. So they had as much of an option as ccfc. We could only purchase 50% with the councils approval. Which was highly unlikely even before the rent strike. Wasps home is London. Cipriani said he's happy to come home. Now where do you think he calls wasps home? Coventry or London?

The Northampton move will have lasting damage for years.
The only thing that could change that would be a succesful stint in the championship.

1) Am I in the exclusive six as I didnt realise asking reasoned thought out questions was whinging. If so I must contact the Oxford English dictionary as their meaning is incorrect.
2) Theres plenty of people listening, as many people read the thread, I regularly see others perusing it as well as non forum members viewing. What is actually correct is you are the only one answering, or perhaps it could be viewed as the only one defending Wasps.

There's a huge difference between travelling around London and even travelling to High Wycombe from London. One hundred miles dwarfs the distance we had to travel to get to Sixfields.I would say a lot of Wasps fans traveled distance anyway as a result of playing all over London.

I still don't approve of moving a club away from their fans be it rugby, football, netball etc. We didn't like it when it happened to us did we? It appears to me that Wasps are having to use inducements to get people to go to their games be it free tickets, paying for trains etc. Now I know that OSB58 has posted a detailed analysis of Wasps from a financial perspective and doesn't think that they're likely to be on the brink anytime soon. But it still can't be right that to show a fuller stadium (on TV) they're using all these inducements. That's probably also going to affect the local teams in the surrounding area just like when a superstore moves into a location.Some fans in this area can also make that decision. Do I want to be part of this ? After all it's for the long term. I'm one of these !!
A lot of Wasps fans were picked up and dropped on their travels, the latest being those from around Wycombe. Some may be long term Wasps fans some may be going because they are on their doorstep.
The pick up and drop of Wasps fans has now stopped and Wasps are now settled in both location and finances.
Something the majority of long term Wasps fans would favour after the past 3 years.

Never supported Wasps. Only watched England on TV. My only live rugby was watching my daughter play for Cov Welsh ladies team.
