You said we can’t just bomb people out and how much you don’t get how fans don’t understand this ? He was out of contract we extended it for another year so really you felt he was under contract and we needed a club to come as take him which is not correctBut it depends on how much a contract extention costs agsinst bringing another forwsrd in?
A team like Coventry cannot afford 30 super stars. We need squad players, who we hope we can develop. They probably could not line up a better replacement for Bakayoko for the money. The strikers who they hoped to ship out was Kasteneer and Biamou - mainly on age.
Was about to write something similar. I don't get it with Baka but Robins and Viveash must see something and who am I to doubt them.He clearly serves a purpose in robins mind, I just wish robins would say what it is

We all know that already, he's here cos he's a cheap black up option
He seems afraid to turn or run at defenders. His passes hit their mark today but I don’t think he played a single ball forwards. As for the “corner” I think I would prefer a Hamer corner with Ostigard & McFadz in the box than Baka facing down Grimmer with no-one in the boxTo me it also seems like a confidence issue as well
SacrilegeHe works hard, presses the defence, wins some headers and has decent link up play.
He's not going to score 20 goals a season we all know that, but he serves a purpose as 4th choice striker

Boom boomso are my limited addition Adidas tobacco but you wouldn't stick them up front
It is a fair argument. As he's not going forward particularly however, there comes a time when you have to try your luck with the next Baka, and hope they develop more effectively?the thing is. and I keep saying this, who do you replace him with?
He won't be a big earner, we will be taking a punt on another lower league player with no guarantee it will work out, it's not like we have big money to spunk on proven Championship quality.
Definitely. It is a fair argument. As he's not going forward particularly however, there comes a time when you have to try your luck with the next Baka, and hope they develop more effectively?
tbf, with both him and Biamou, they might want more first team football than we can give them, anyway. Baka's still at an age where if he could pull together a half-decent season in either League 1 or League 2, he could probably get himself a better contract than being perpetual nearly man with us.Definitely.

Hes a cheap chinese rip off of Akinfenwa

And given our scouting style, it may be worth a punt to see if the next one is a success.
we also have to move the player on, which might not be that easy. When doe Bakas contract end?
End of the season.
That fact we haven’t offered him a new deal since summer means he isn’t in the plans from next summer. Wonder if we can loan him somewhere so we can loan in a premiership striker youngster
Jesus weptTo be fair I’d rather see Kasta get a chance up front

I'd argue he rarely wins headers and his link up play is appalling. I agree he works hard and presses well though. He works hard, presses the defence, wins some headers and has decent link up play.

I suspect the underlying problem with the lad is a lack of confidence
Missing chances only makes things worse
YepBut he doesn’t miss chances so much as never get in the positions for a chance to come his way.
I don't think he's up to this level as a goal scorer he might run around and stuff for the team but when the ball drops to him he misses more than scores and that's too risky as you need to take almost every chance in this divisionYep
Robins has spent a lot of time trying to get him to learn the game and make the most of his physical attributes
That's the frustration
Let's be honest he only got another chance because Godden is injured and Max has a niggling problem with his knee
