He seems to have impressed. Is he under contract in Ireland? Would a small fee need to be agreed first?
Wouldn't mind Lussey either. Seems he was only playing non league as Brentford missed a deadline for signing him/pulled out last minute so he had to make a decision on playing somewhere (according to the Southport manager, not sure how true it is). We need a bit of depth in midfield and would imagine he'd be a low cost gamble who seemingly has the potential to player higher than he was last year.
I saw Lussey at Sutton and he didn't stand out to me. Not to say he wont in future but he looked no better than Stevenson or Shipley who he would be competing with. I would rather use the funds to find a wide midfielder as I feel we are still lacking here.

If he was anywhere near Stevenson level (and as ex captain of Scousers youngsters, you'd think he ought to be) then if we can get him on board, he ought to be a good buy, especially as Stevenson may become a goodbye at some point (see what I did there?!)

I'm still undecided. Wife finishes work 4:30. I took her to work this morning so I can pick her up. But where she works is massive and can be held up by traffic. She can also be 5 minutes or more late getting out. And I have 7 and 8 year olds to look after until she takes over.
Route planner says 151 miles and nearly 3 hours. That is without peak time traffic on M6, M61, M60, M62 and the M1 :wacky:

We haven't been told, but I think Haynes and the unfortunate Kwame Thomas are out. I suppose there are some doubts about the fitness of Stokes, DiKE who both had 'slight knocks' in training and did not play against Valenciennes and also Camwell, who was injured in that game. But hopefully those 3 will have recovered by now.

Yes me too. Moorhouse must already be close to proving he's worth signing. And Lussey should be given another chance to prove he's strong enough physcally and mentally for League 2.
