The ongoing delay could also be related to international clearance. Got a vague recollection that when Baker came back training with us when we were in league 2 from his stint in India that there were complications over his release and registration too, so it could just be down to a bureaucratic administrative issue at the Indian end.

Bright approached us I believe. Suspect/hope the deal is favourable and incentivises "good behaviour". Hopefully his experiences the last couple of years have made him change his behaviour. Have to remember he was quite young when he was with us previously.

The same sources are saying that Bright has been training at Ryton, has been given a squad number, and has now travelled to spain with the squad.

It’s no surprise that when Walker was fit we looked more of a threat as he makes intelligent runs, opening space for the likes of O’Hare to move into. Just because Max runs a lot doesn’t mean it benefits the team more than a striker who makes better runs and can actually finish
