Anyone who knows the game knows that off the ball movement isn’t Max’s strongest attribute. It’s no surprise that when Walker was fit we looked more of a threat as he makes intelligent runs, opening space for the likes of O’Hare to move into. Just because Max runs a lot doesn’t mean it benefits the team more than a striker who makes better runs and can actually finish
I couldnt give a fuck.
The point I was making is, you cant tell someone with a different opinion to yours that they shouldn't be on a football forum, when a football forum is exactly the place where fans can go online to discuss differing opinions!

And you think any of them would come here to be an impact sub on an impact subs wage 🤣

Who said its impact sub? Strength in depth is massive in the championship

Really think were going to be lucky enough to get another injury free season out of O'Hare? Why does he not need competition? Also the likes of them can play wide if we change system?

Id love us to have a look at him, youll have some on here instantly shit on that though because hes proven championship quality
Probably more attacking than McCallum, and worse at defending but he scores some cracking goals and instantly gives us a threat from the left we never had last year. At 25k p/w it'd be tough to get him. Worth 10k P/w?

I never understand all this talk of what a player used to earn. He's a free agent. We make him an offer and he either accepts it or he doesn't.

Ok so as Messi is now a free agent we should throw a 10k P/w offer at him. If a player has a contract at 25k P/W and it expires, hes not going to take a 1/3rd of that to move.

Now you are just being silly. I think you understand my point.

Whilst this is true, free agents are still going to try and get as close as to their former contract as is possible.

Footballers usually live to their contracts so any significant drop is likely to hurt them financially.

It usually isn't as simple as 'they'll still earn a shed load so £10k pw less won't hurt them'.
