Will be tougher than the cup match as Bristol have a very good first choice team. We simply cannot afford to start like we did at Stoke and we need to cut out the mistakes at the back.
No predictions. Depends which Cov team turn up.

For those mentioning the cup game, be aware, like yourselves, we only played 3 first teamers and had taken 2 of them off before you scored. I wouldn't read anything into that game tbh.
Don't think anyone is reading much into the cup game. A few of us had Bristol City down as 'dark horses' this season. This game could be a real measure of where both clubs are and you would expect the winner to go well this season. A draw wouldn't be a disaster for us away from home but we are due a convincing performance and I imagine most of us will expect the team to go for the win.

Bench will probably be

Wilson
Thomas
Dasilva
Sheaf
Allen
Palmer
EMC
BTA
Bassette

That’s insane

Just need a CM in and in a couple of weeks that’ll be:

Collins, Dasilva, Thomas, Eccles, Torp, Palmer, EMC, Bassette, BTA

With Allen, Kitching, and Rodriguez to come in.

Reckon we will do the Ipswich (?) thing of swapping the whole front line on 60 mins.

Big game for us in terms of mentality. We must go and impose ourselves, none of the timid, passive shit we saw at stoke. Will be tough, but will give a good steer of where the team is at.

Would take draw, however, just think with our attacking options we may have enough.

With the balance of this squad we have to go out with tempo, confidence and attack, else we will concede and end up chasing games, especially away.
Somehow Robins has to motivate the team to have confidence and do it from the off, not after half time. Something he's struggled to do.
Think there's still a lot of work to do and we'll lose this one.

On a tangent, where are the city fans drinking on Saturday in Bristol? Rose of Denmark/Nova Scotia pubs or elsewhere? Last time city fans seemed to be spread around without there being one or two main places identified. Mind you, that was a random tues night game a while back so probs not the best time to judge.

at lot of the pubs seem to open at 12 which is rubbish for a 12:30 kick off

Is Tobacco Factory any good? Weather looks awful.

I noticed him in some of the indoor training activities in the latest City Unseen videos. However, neither him or Sheaf are in any of the outdoor, "on the grass", training. I think they are both someway off being involved in a squad.

Personally think this set-back for Rapha will see him in the u21s to start with.
Sheaf was running on the grass in the City Unseen of last week, but like you say not involved with "the group" yet.

Didn’t realise it was a 12:30 KO or it was on Sky until ittoo late and I’m out in Birmingham from midday.

Any recommendations for where might show the game? There’s a Man U game on, so I assume most pubs will have that on.
