Agree with that. Do they have police polar bears?

The villa shop was looted yesterday - 200 shirts got thrown back in

List of solutions to the problem:

1. Water Cannon
2. Rubber bullets
3. Police Dogs
4. Tear Gas
5. The army

That took me 30 seconds to think of and type, why is it taking the government 3 days+ to implement even one of those?

These are only short term solutions. Sterilisation is the only real answer but sadly we're not allowed to do things like that and get called narrow-minded bigots for even suggesting it. Scum begets scum.

*cue post of "Rob you're a narrow-minded bigot"

You have to remember that these kids are from deprived communities. They don't have the latest iphone or trainers or gold jewellery. It's hard for us to imagine the suffering they endure everyday not being able to enjoy the basics of life that we all take for granted such as fresh plasma TVs and those fashion essentials. Until we undestand that they are the true victims of these riots and not the so called innocent people who have lost everything the sooner we will mend broken Britain.

Um...you know we have a Conservative government right? One who has cut back on all the social supports and cut thousands of jobs in these areas? But sure it's a liberal problem. Some of you lot sound like Fox News anchors...

The thing is, they have been allowed to do what they want. They have been getting away with what they want. They know the police wont touch them so carry on doing it.

I don't hold out too much for our future youth if this is a sample of what they are like.

It is always someone else's fault.

There was a youth worker on Sky News, saying it is because of lack of jobs and lack of things for kids to do.

Unfortunately the parents of these children have probably sent them out with a shopping list of things to rob.

What a bunch of wankers, they are just taking the piss now, the problem is just snow balling due to the lack of authority being shown by the police.

Exactly, people are seeing how easy it is and how the police are just standing there and getting involved.

Boris Johnson has just been saying how everybody WILL be receiving punishment, how do they plan to do that when 95% of the people had their hoods and scarves and nobody stopped them?

If this kicks off again next year the Olympics will be unsustainable unless we have thousands more police. Oh I forgot front line police numbers are being hit so we'll need the help of the Big Society. Any volunteers?

Give a few a slap on the wrist and put the cost onto the tab of the british tax payer. MET has confirmed army will not be used, Isn't the Army there to protect the citizens of this country, they need all the man power they can get, but instead they are bringing officiers from other countys, so expect to see the problem spread further.

What a sick society you guys have to live in. So glad I escaped .....sorry, emigrated. Seems to me to be a societal problem that is borne out of socialism and state pandering to the lazy and feckless for a couple of generations, eh? Feel so sorry for the decent, hard working folks who have to pay their hard-earned taxes for these parasites. I can't help feeling that National Service should be reinstituted for the 16 to 18 year olds plus anyone on unemployment or other scroungers diseases. Problem is that these morons believe it's their right to be looked after by everyone but themselves.

Sad to say, the UK is becoming a joke internationally and needs a bit of testicular fortitude at the top.

I like the way they are saying they will be punished but its all retrospectively, thats no fucking good if they burn your house down and beat you up.
Politicians need to sample it first hand to appreciate we want protecting now ffs

Exactly, if I was watching coppers stand by and my business being smashed up but "it is ok we will get them later" I would be livid!

A looter has already been shot dead!

If looting happens in Cov will someone meet me at the sony centre? When we have cleaned up in there we can go up to the Apple shop in West Orchards. I've always wanted an Ipad 2.

Seriously though, I don't understand why this has spread nationwide. Can anyone explain?

It has spread because it can I think. The more people get away with the more people will do.

They are seeing how easy it is to go and steal some stuff without being stopped so everybody wants a bit.

The looters have timed this really badly. The iPhone 5 isn't out until September. They'll just end up having to loot again when they could have done it all in one quick loot. Did you know the more you type and say the word 'loot' it sounds more and more ridiculous each time.

There is no reasonable explanation. They are just twats thinking they are owed something for nothing and not taking responsibility for their own lives. Most of them are not old enough to have contributed anything to our society and country yet they expect to be rewarded by the easy life paid for by those prepared to graft. No respect no brains just plenty of gimme attitude.

It isnt for a cause at all its greed and avarice - he has it and i am taking it attitude. Nothing to do with society marginalising youth its simply opportunism of a criminal kind.

Have always defended our youth because they are our future but this minority are complete idiots. Really have no problem with the police etc cracking down hard on them
