Can't help but get the feeling he's been poorly advised by his agent. Imagine turning down an offer from abroad to play for Sheffield United.
Wright and Simms are on £25k a week (allegedly)who is our top earner atm? binks was on apparently £30k at parent club, i assume wright/simms are top?
They have seen our squad vs theirs right? Fuck me they are thick..Sheffield united fans saying we are their feeder club ..
With fleck and hamer it was mostly down to that .. but O'Hare arguably would sit on our bench right now , it's the definition of a sideways move to a direct promotion rival
£2million in his back pocket and £25k a week for playing championship footy ain't too shabby.Hahahhahahahaha him ending up at Sheffield United is hilarious. He must feel pretty fucking embarrassed.
They are that bad i half expect him to be two-footed in training and out for the seasonJust to be clear, i fucking hate Sheffield United, i think they are a horrible shithouse of a football club. Last season was fucking hilarious and watching them getting pulled to pieces right now is even more hilarious. He'll get no thanks for me and i hope he gets booed the shit out of home and away. Lets see who finishes higher then Cal, i know who my money is on atm.
Another blinder played by Doug weeding out the shite.
Fingers crossedThey are that bad i half expect him to be two-footed in training and out for the season
Where does he get £2m from?£2million in his back pocket and £25k a week for playing championship footy ain't too shabby.
I'm sure he'll cope with the embarasment.
This was purely financial. If he wanted to play every week he would have just stayed here. Clearly he never intended to stay and should have just been honest from the start instead of pretty much downing tools at the end of last season. I personally think he has burned his bridges and should be treated no differently to any other ex playerNeeded to look after himself financially and this deal secures that for life and wants to play every week and that is likely to happen with them.
Don’t like them as a club but still wish him the best other than when we play them.
Yes, because nobody came in with the £5mil we wanted for Hamer, so O'Hare was next down the list to flog to pay the bills. He was off to Burnley years ago before he got injured. Again for the money.
Ground hog day ….COH was set for life whether he signed our deal or moved to Sheffield United. Let’s stop pretending he wasn’t or that it was the deciding factor.Needed to look after himself financially and this deal secures that for life and wants to play every week and that is likely to happen with them.

Not at all but dont lie and withold your true intentions just so the fans dont turn on you before you leaveIs it a shock that a player signs a contract for more money and longer terms than offered elsewhere? Is that a bad thing?
As I said in a previous post, he's being paid a £2m signing on bonus.Where does he get £2m from?
Most people would kill to be what he was on at city mate and he was offered an increase, he wouldn't have to worry about money for the rest of his life.Ground hog day ….COH was set for life whether he signed our deal or moved to Sheffield United. Let’s stop pretending he wasn’t or that it was the deciding factor.
Spot on, it's just about the money. Pure and simple.COH is a shithouse, look fair play to him getting higher wages and a big sign on fee, everyone wants to earn more money certainly, but don't give this 'I want to test myself at a higher level' bullshit when really it's about the money, he's gone to a shite club who got the football version of a bukkake last year.
He was at a club where the management team loved him, players loved him and the fans loved and sung his name, I accepted months ago he was going and I'm not bothered he's gone, we will have a cracking and exciting season without him, when they're struggling and we're excelling he will look on thinking 'why did I sign for this shite hole of a football club'
Oh yeah I’m not slating him. I’d do immoral things for that much money but it is a bit embarrassing to end up a Sheffield United 2 weeks into pre season after all the La Liga and Premier League chat£2million in his back pocket and £25k a week for playing championship footy ain't too shabby.
I'm sure he'll cope with the embarasment.
Not according to the club (Sheff Utd)As I said in a previous post, he's being paid a £2m signing on bonus.
His poor form from January onwards clearly put off his suitors leaving him with not a great deal of choice. He might as well have continued here in all honesty.Spot on, it's just about the money. Pure and simple.
A big signing on bonus and a guaranteed starting place and £25k a week.
I understand why he went, but it's certainly not for footballing reasons.
I'd imagine he's got to be a bit disappointed that he didn't get a move to the Premier league and £40+k a week.
His poor form from January onwards clearly put off his suitors leaving him with not a great deal of choice. He might as well have continued here in all honesomeone offered me 25 k a week I'd be off.
If someone offered me 25 k a week I'd be off.His poor form from January onwards clearly put off his suitors leaving him with not a great deal of choice. He might as well have continued here in all honesty.
The fact we never offered it him and chose to spend 4 million on rudoni should say everythingI
If someone offered me 25 k a week I'd be off.
