I’m hope that Sheff Utd have the money to pay any instalments we are due for Hamer as I can’t imagine King being very forgiving if they haven’t.

who is our top earner atm? binks was on apparently £30k at parent club, i assume wright/simms are top?
Wright and Simms are on £25k a week (allegedly)

Binks was having his wages paid by Bologne, City paid a loan fee, I've no idea what that was.

Sheffield united fans saying we are their feeder club ..

With fleck and hamer it was mostly down to that .. but O'Hare arguably would sit on our bench right now , it's the definition of a sideways move to a direct promotion rival
They have seen our squad vs theirs right? Fuck me they are thick..
Once Hamer leaves they are done.

He’s going for the money and the fact no Premiership club has come in for him.

Unfortunately it shouldn’t come as a surprise. He was off to Burnley years ago before he got injured. Again for the money.

The fact no Premiership club has come for him says it all.

Just to be clear, i fucking hate Sheffield United, i think they are a horrible shithouse of a football club. Last season was fucking hilarious and watching them getting pulled to pieces right now is even more hilarious. He'll get no thanks for me and i hope he gets booed the shit out of home and away. Lets see who finishes higher then Cal, i know who my money is on atm.
Another blinder played by Doug weeding out the shite.

OHare was great for us at his peak and had a very good game v MU in semi final, once Mainoo went off.
Wish he hadn't gone to Sheff U but I don't wish him injury or anything. We have a better team and play a style that suits him better so an odd decision on his part.
I still think if we'd had him available v Luton in CPOF we'd have edged them.

Needed to look after himself financially and this deal secures that for life and wants to play every week and that is likely to happen with them.
Don’t like them as a club but still wish him the best other than when we play them.
This was purely financial. If he wanted to play every week he would have just stayed here. Clearly he never intended to stay and should have just been honest from the start instead of pretty much downing tools at the end of last season. I personally think he has burned his bridges and should be treated no differently to any other ex player

COH is a shithouse, look fair play to him getting higher wages and a big sign on fee, everyone wants to earn more money certainly, but don't give this 'I want to test myself at a higher level' bullshit when really it's about the money, he's gone to a shite club who got the football version of a bukkake last year.

He was at a club where the management team loved him, players loved him and the fans loved and sung his name, I accepted months ago he was going and I'm not bothered he's gone, we will have a cracking and exciting season without him, when they're struggling and we're excelling he will look on thinking 'why did I sign for this shite hole of a football club'

From a Sheff U Standpoint it makes sense. He's a good replacement for Mcatee in that Wilder system. Problem for COH is that its a thankless task, lots of running and not a free scoring system.

Ground hog day ….COH was set for life whether he signed our deal or moved to Sheffield United. Let’s stop pretending he wasn’t or that it was the deciding factor.

Most people would kill to be what he was on at city mate and he was offered an increase, he wouldn't have to worry about money for the rest of his life.

Spot on, it's just about the money. Pure and simple.

A big signing on bonus and a guaranteed starting place and £25k a week.
I understand why he went, but it's certainly not for footballing reasons.

I'd imagine he's got to be a bit disappointed that he didn't get a move to the Premier league and £40+k a week.

£2million in his back pocket and £25k a week for playing championship footy ain't too shabby.
I'm sure he'll cope with the embarasment.
Oh yeah I’m not slating him. I’d do immoral things for that much money but it is a bit embarrassing to end up a Sheffield United 2 weeks into pre season after all the La Liga and Premier League chat

His poor form from January onwards clearly put off his suitors leaving him with not a great deal of choice. He might as well have continued here in all honesty.

He's been a big part of the club's upward momentum these last 5 years. Despite his injuries to pretend otherwise is futile. Life in football keeps moving though and there's a fair chance that we will have seen the best of O'Hare. Moving forward Rudoni might well prove to have the better career. The King is dead, long live the King!

On his reception when he plays against us though, I do hope that we ease of on booing him when we play Sheff U, not because of his sensitivities, but that doing so can often result in a player raising his game. Equally I don't want him being applauded until he turns up at a future 'legends' day. Completely ignoring the fact he is playing is the way to go for me.
