No idea but I kind if feel for him a bit. Massive decision at this point in his career. More money and a sideways step or stay where you are loved and are happy
Lets be honest if he signs here he will more than likely be here in his early 30's and can see him ending his career here. He has the potential to go up the leagues with us too. To us fans it seems like a very easy decision!

That would give us Torp, Allen, Palmer, Rudoni & O'Hare for those AM / No 10 roles. There might only be one position in the team, if we're playing 4-2-1-3 (although Palmer & Rudoni can play wide, and Torp & Allen can play CM). If it was to happen I think Allen would be moved on, or possibly Palmer.

It's flip flopping everyday it seems and he's genuinely completely torn on what to do by all accounts.

He's genuinely in a head v heart quandary
Fuck him off, if he don't know by now then he can sod off. The second a team come sniffing in Jan he'll wanna go.

It's like a relationship that's on the rocks and you reluctantly stay to make it work and then have the affair away.

Or something.

If he's going to play in championship next season, may aswell be with us on improved wages - then if he performs as well as he thinks he can, he either goes up with us or if we fall short then he would surely be able to join a promoted team then. Or, realise he may only ever be a top championship player.

So the option for him is still on the table even thought we’ve paid good money for Rudoni?

Evidently. Which contradicts what I was told by my usual source.

Should have said that caveat actually, this isn't the usual source. However it's the same one who told me Binks was signed and at The CBS last week so they have some credence

Personally I don’t think we need either Palmer or Allen, I’d be trying to get rid of them both if I could, especially Palmer who thinks he’s better than he is, if we get around £1 mil for him then that’s sound, even throw in Allen for free tbh 😂

I don’t think we need 3-4 AMs going forward, 1-2 is fine and if somehow both get injured then we change formation. I don’t even think 4-2-3-1 is our best formation tbh, I much prefer us playing 4-3-3 and doing away with the AM position. We should focus on finding a Stamenic replacement and play Torp, Sheaf and Stamenic 2.0 across the midfield, then if we need to we can switch the game up with Rudoni or O’Hare.

Let's all be clear, it would be fantastic to keep him. We want good players, you can't have enough of them. Genuinely think he's better off staying, have a Stella season, see what that brings. It would enhance our chances if he stayed.

And absolutely nothing to do with him not getting the offers his agent hyped him up to believe he would get
I’m guessing his spell after February wasn’t enough to convince teams he’s back to his best after the ACL. Would love O’Hare to stay - I’m confident for next season, him staying will strengthen that confidence

MR seems to rate Allen and sticks by him, admittedly a manager should do this, but I feel Allen, Lati and JDS are almost in the same boat.

Yeah definitely, they’re all in the same shitty boat that has several holes in it and only one oar. I hope we’re just a little bit more ruthless when it comes to ditching passengers like JDS and Allen, yes they can do a job but we need better subs than them, the whole team has to be strong, not just 10 or 11 players.

If the kid could add goals or more assists to his game he would be next level, thats the issue. If he stays, which I would love to see by the way, he needs to kick on again. Its not many players that attain cult status with a fan base and he seems to have achieved it and I doubt he would get that at another championship side. The big question is can MR and AV get more out of him, if they could it would be a game changer.

I would love the guy to stay in our promotion season. I’m a massive fan and he is no world beater he is the heart beat of this team
