Would prefer to buy rather than loan so he’s committed to our cause and we can maybe make some profit out of him in the long run, like MVE, but if there’s no other option then he’s definitely better than Bidwell and JDS.
I would imagine we couldn't possibly afford him unless we got to the Premier League so this feels like an excellent opportunity. Loans like this are absolutely the way forward, as he is a top quality player, although I must admit I do have my doubts about whether it is possible. Surely he should already be playing in the PL.

Imagine the blue wig and pump it up video II if he did sign? I’m a fan so would take him all day long, no fee for a quality player, back up and competition with others and a stronger squad to push on properly again next year.

I wasn't going to post anything about this as I also feel it's too good to be true but I have been told exactly the same 😳

He would be the left back. Loan with obligation to buy if promoted apparently.

I also wrote it off as bollocks hence not posting, but if numerous people are being informed the same.....

It always seems strange to me that multiple right-footed players is seen as fine and natural, whereas you only need one or two left-footers because it’s some kind of specialism.
Lot's of managers these days don't think it's fine to have 2 right footers, this is why we have signed 2 left footers to share lcb. It's to do with improved passing lanes. It wasn't so much a concern in the past but with the way teams build up from the back it's a concern for a lot of managers these days

Which (given that left-sided people are very much in the minority) surely puts a premium on left footers. If we sign Doyle maybe we are trying to corner the market LOL

Fuck him off, if he don't know by now then he can sod off. The second a team come sniffing in Jan he'll wanna go.

It's like a relationship that's on the rocks and you reluctantly stay to make it work and then have the affair away.

Or something.

Ridiculous

Would expect a few to leave then wouldnt we? Godden, Palmer, Bidwell, Wilson

I don’t know about Wilson but the others are in the last year of their contracts and have probably been told they won’t be offered another
