Maybe we didn't offer a 4 year deal so that is why he decided to move.

IMO if it matters is this a very strange move, they are not guaranteed to go straight back up and Chris Wilder plays very direct football.

But I wish him well hope he finds out that the grass isn't always greener

All done for Sheffield United evidently

If that's true I wish him nothing but misery. Strong us along for months whilst being mediocre, then 'turned down' premier league and Spanish clubs to play for Sheffield United?

Fuck the money grabbing little wanker, I hope he gets a shit reception when he returns and Bobby Thomas snaps him in half

Sheffield united fans saying we are their feeder club ..

With fleck and hamer it was mostly down to that .. but O'Hare arguably would sit on our bench right now , it's the definition of a sideways move to a direct promotion rival

A Hamer departure should shut them up. At least there's somewhere we can dump our cast offs in future

its happened before, player left for a bigger side, more money, sits on the bench for two years, released then playing in L2.

Some daft reactions here - lets just wish him well, he was part of the miracle that has happened at our club these last few years. So lets give him a good reception on his return before the game, no booing during the game and then thank him and Sheff Utd for another 3 points at the end of the game.

I don’t.

He’s not going to a PL team or abroad. He’s going to a direct rival and I hope it’s a spectacular failure as that will mean our chances improve.
You can still wish him well, yet hope it's a disaster in terms of Sheffield Utds success. That's how I am with it.

The same player who told me this morning that O'hare was in Sheffield for his medical, also said that Sheff utd had offered him £25k a week AND a £2milliin signing on fee.

Cov offered him £12k a week tops.

Can't blame him, but it will smart seeing him turn out for them, especially if they keep Gus. We'll still have a stronger team than last season.

Good dont break the bank for someone who has never hit high in goal contributions, wasnt one of our key players so shouldnt earn as one was just a big and good personality in the squad

I don't think he is worth that. But just my opinion. I never expected him to sign another contract and not particularly bothered he has left.

Bloody hell - these clubs do this and then wonder why they are in the shit with money. I hope they fall flat on their faces....an easily dislikeable club.
