It won't be a points deduction it'll be a fine.
You would think so. The only time I can recall someone getting a points deduction for calling a game off was Middlesbrough. But IIRC they called it off of their own back saying that they couldn’t field a team, no consultation with the FA, made the decision on their own. That’s not what’s happened in our case. The decision to call the games of was taken out of our hands so a point deduction would be harsh, more likely to be a fine.

Wow would hate to work on your team but ok

Who knew there was an issue 6 weeks ago
How many calls do you think were made before the statement on Thursday before the Rotherham game?
How would you have dealt with it when you have to have an ongoing relationship?

It’s ok to say well done and still recognise things could have been done differently
ffs

This issue apparently coming out of nowhere does not reflect as well on Boddy as you seem to think it does. It's his job as CEO to anticipate problems, as well as deal with them.

Personally I find it extremely frustrating that as someone who's supposed to represent us fans to people like Boddy, your default response at times like these isn't to ask follow-up questions or demand more transparency, but to offer a big ol' pat on the back all round instead.

Does Boddy have any culpability in your view?
Absolutely for the situation
I know you don’t want to hear excuses / reasons
The well done is for the last 10 days
He alludes to the shenanigans in his ccfc statement about it being sorted on Monday
He should have gone to the cwg and seen with his eyes
If he had we would probably have been at this point before Rotherham but if wasps weren’t accepting the issue what do you do?

Grendel on this occasion I agree with you. With all the negativity surrounding Wasps over their financial position of late Boddy should have been right on the ball making sure none of this impacted the club.

He should have been in Wasp's face seeking assurances that the Rugby 7's wasn't going to ruin the pitch.

If only you knew!
But yeah that’s all I’ve said here
Fuck it
Wasps have let us down big time
Boddy could have been jumping up and down in June. Do you know he hasn’t been talking pitch since February??!’l!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even then the resolution was not in his court.
I’m sure he wishes he could have done things differently
I’ve spent hours on the phone over the last week just to get up boddy and Richardson and joys arses yep absolutely ffs

A simple question for you Pete. What do you think overall this farce has done for MR’s relationship with Boddy?

I have never had any contact with robins he is the manager and my whole angle has been to try and ensure good relationships between wasps and ccfc to get back and keep back and be grown up about resolving issues.
So I’m guessing it will have been difficult but robins is a balanced rational and loyal person who will have seen what boddy has been doing and whilst this has undoubtedly made his job this season far far harder than it was he won’t be blaming boddy

Be an interesting question to ask at a fans forum with robins though

Also it really does put us up against it and we’ll need to be an even louder 12th man than last season

This Boddy stuff, whichever way you view it, detracts from the simple fact that our wanker Landlords left us with a pitch not fit for purpose. It’s their fault.

At the end of the day what’s the point of renting a stadium if we can’t play in it.

I couldn’t give a shit about the other crap, about how culpable Boddy is or isn’t, it’s all a smokescreen for the fact these wankers left us high and dry and couldn’t give a shit about the club or us the fans.

Fucking incredible how Wasps fuck us over as a collective, yet some supporters are still desperate to solely blame Boddy. Yes, he’s fronting ownership, yes he talks shite sometimes but let’s face it, If he doesn’t make a statement people melt and when he does, it doesn’t matter what he says because the agenda driven are going melt over it anyway.

Heads I win, tails you fucking lose.

Even when we get fucked over, we still can’t come together as a group… even against fucking W*sps.

Only trusting what WASPs told him. That is lesson learned but does not warrant the diatribe you have spouted

I’d have been sacked at JLR for this level of incompetence and I’d deserve it

Lol touché if that’s a joke
If that’s for real no it’s not my job it’s a voluntary role

Voluntary or otherwise, if your role is to act as a liaison between fans and the management, it's a bit rich to come back at my criticisms with some kind of obtuse "only I know the real story".

If you really believe Boddy and co should all get presented with medals against Preston like it's the end of fucking Star Wars, then tell us why that's the case, don't just allude to some kind of super insider knowledge, you look like a yes man.

Is his role Chief Executive Officer?

You know better than to try this with me, especially on the same subject, again.

We both know his role is to front ownership. And ownership have an agenda. The pitch feeds into it.

Pete doesn’t think there is an agenda and we should pay him on his back for working jolly hard for the fans

I don't see why everyones erect.

Should never have come to this. Wasps were the main fuck up 100%, but the pissing contest for the last 2 weeks was fucking needless

I hope everyone is pumped up and makes a cracking atmosphere first game back, because i feel we will be 5 or 6 points from safety tbh the way its started

I'm not solely blaming Boddy.
But he has to share some responsibility.
The lack of communication to supporters falls at his door for starters.

And I'm prepared to come together with anyone to protest against wasps, hopefully at their 2nd home game of the season.

I think I saw something from PSB group (don't know how credible they are) saying they were organising something for wasp 1st home game but think that clashes with the brum away game and was aiming/hoping for 1000 to turn up

And you can’t even read either I said pretty much. If you’re gonna quote someone do it properly

Why are we arguing anyway. I hope you are more gracious as a parent and friend.
Should it have been sorted before now - yes
Could it have been with wasps not accepting anything was needed? I would suggest not
So what would you expect a ceo to do? Forget it’s boddy what would you do or expect someone to do?
You spout ridiculous nonsense sometimes you really do

At most boddy should have got into the stadium during cwg and seen with his own eyes.

Anything else is Neanderthal drivel from someone with an axe to grind
I don't think Neanderthals had axes pete
