Even stranger when you walk past Tim Fisher etc and you know they read a site you made, but they have no idea who you are!
That would be a time to :claping hands:
It's a shame our privacy laws don't allow Nick to say though... although I have no burning desire to reveal myself even though no bugger knows me and I'm an irrelevance, just because, well... the whole point of message boards is a certain 'privacy' (unless you're bignoj posting his address up on GMK if somebody wanted a fight).
So I wouldn't be over-comfortable if Nick were to unmask anyone, unless it was some blatant subterfuge... even if he could!
I kinda had to be outed unfortunately and to be honest it's not made discourse any better. I'm a big fan of anonymity on the net, I just don't like it when corporations abuse that with astroturfing, so I wouldn't mind if Nick found out that all RFCs posts come from Weber Shandwick HQ or something if he revealed that fact and let RFC explain (or some other open and shut case, not "this guy posts from the council house" when it's the janitor or something).
Nah, was more of a hint...
I kinda had to be outed unfortunately
Well if you haven't more than a hint I think you should withdraw your accusation. If you are hinting at stuff from a position of privilege then hiding behind privacy laws...you should have the balls to blow the doors off or keep your gob shut.
Do you know the real identifies of posters or not? I think it is in the public interest of all posters to know!

Now...
In GMK's defence, think many of us knew who you 'were' anyway, long before you were 'outed' here, and we all kept quiet!
It's the catch 22 though. professional curiosity makes me want to ask lots of questions, but I'm just a bloke with a liking for 60s/70s comedy related [pseudonyms, so not likely to ever get those questions answered
I didn't even know it had anything to do with GMK. I don't even think it's relevant, I enjoy being a random idiot and specifically try to stay out of other things so I can enjoy that privilege. All people knowing who I am has done is make them think I've got an agenda.
I haven't accused anybody, have I?
So have you any evidence of false accounts pro ACL or pro SISU?
You're going to tell me that Grendel is Ann Lucas or something now aren't you?
Are you the police?
You started the "hints" around posters and their accounts and the fact they might not be genuine and working for certain organisations...you run the forum where's your evidence?
It has nothing to do with GMK, but you have been going after them a bit recently, and I was just pointing out the fact it was hardly a shock who you 'were' for some of us who post there, when you were outed on here
That said, it's only one person who goes after you really, isn't it?
That's enough to make me choke on my woodbines
I had you down as a Passing Cloud type.
Any I have is piled up
Yes, thought as much, you are just trying to talk out you arse.
There are definitely some that have been somewhat suspicious.
There was a new poster, who started with a Pro-Sixfields stance, which changed within days to a virulent, impassioned anti-Sixfields stance, and appeared unaware that Warwick University wasn't actually in Warwick!
I think I remember that guy.
Matters that we handle include enforcement actions, major litigation (especially intellectual property, competition, fraud and international disputes), natural and man-made disasters, environmental, health and safety issues, financial situations (M&A, bankruptcies and restructurings), board disputes, management changes, industrial action (including strikes, unionisation campaigns and plant closures), product recalls, product liability and market exits.
Forgive me, but isn't that pro-unionisation?
I read it as mobilising opinion agaist unionisation?
That's good PR for you, something for everybody!
Rod has helped promote and protect the reputations of many companies and other organisations, and of the people who lead them.
Yeah I delved a bit further, into one of their blokes, and it's def anti!
Hi Weber Shandwick, if you're reading then I've noticed a few proof errors on your website, if you fancy giving me a job at your usual rates
But also a joke with a serious point behind it. For all the shit RFC gets, (s)he's hardly likely to be in the SISU employ, are they? If ever an approach is going to rile people against SISU, that's the one!
Even stranger when you walk past Tim Fisher etc and you know they read a site you made, but they have no idea who you are!
You're like the Keyser Soze of Coventry City.
Are you the police?
Don't think he hung around for long after I pointed out that anybody half-way local would know where Warwick Uni was!
Surprised at a Labour council using a PR company who specialise in anti-unionisation campaigns.
Still, don't suppose there is such a thing as an ethical PR company anyway for anybody to hire.

No mention of building a new ground there, just moving to another ground, due to being handed a winding-up petition.
