I have just had a look at Blackburn's fixtures - they have an incredibly easy run in from hereon in. Only Sunderland (a) and Sheff Utd a) - last game of the season (which may be irrelevant to Sheff Utd by then). Be absolutely amazed if they are not in the top 6, as the rest of the games look cherry picked for them.
We've reached the siege mentally time of the season. No such thing as a certainty. Surprise results just about every week. Last week some on here had Middlesbrough finishing in the top 6. Just a point off in 7th and 2 games in hand IIRC. Now they're in 11th, 4 points away and just 1 game in hand.

Look at the run Plymouth just had. Away to Sunderland, then home to WBA, Liverpool in the cup then finishing off with home to Millwall. Plymouth were rooted at the bottom of the table. They drew at Sunderland then beat the other 3. 10 goals for, 4 goals against.

It's also why I've been confident of a run for the top 6. Teams in the race for promotion have to keep playing each other. Teams at the bottom are playing for survival. And unusually this season every club still has something to play for. 6th to 15th are separated by just 7 points. 16th to 24th just 11 points.

Add to this injuries and players being knackered towards the end. Players continuing with knocks.

Teams will drop away from the top and pull away from the bottom in the next few weeks. But both promotion and relegation could well be decided on the last day.

Swansea keeper needs dropping, second time he’s been lobbed for being too far off his line in the last few games.

Most probably it's the way they set up. High defensive line with the GK out of his area ready for the long ball over the defence.

Certainly isn't working 😂

Yes you are right, on paper a good schedule for Blackburn.
Went through some other teams, Watford on paper have a favourable one also.
I still don't think Coventry are that good , hopefully we can improve and really get going.

I always fear Norwich and boring but solid West Brom. No idea what's happening at Middlesbrough at the moment.

Boro fans are talking about sacking Carrick if that helps.

How on earth are Boro higher than us?

Those Burnley odds are exactly why I don’t want them to finish third. They 100% win the playoffs. Boring fuckers.
Middlesbrough still have a game in hand and an easier run of games. A few of us have been saying they won't make the playoffs so their recent results are not totally unexpected.

But if you look at the odds on offer they are mainly poor value. The longest odds of the top 4 is just over evens and only 3 teams can go up. Everyone else should be our odds or longer.

I totally agree on not wanting to play Burnley. But they do struggle to score frequently. That's why they're not running away with it after only letting in 9 goals in 33 games. They are on a run of 11 games without conceding a goal, but 6 of them have been 0-0.

By the time the playoffs come around Wright should be firing on all cylinders. Simms has his confidence back and is scoring again. EMC on the left and Rudoni will be creating chances. Grimes has an eye for a defence splitting pass. And our defence, whilst not pretty, can soak up pressure when needed.

If we have to play them in the playoffs I'd prefer it to be in the final in a one off game.

Considering he was also found guilty and served 8 games on a biting charge earlier in the season

One would suspect a big old ban will be in the pipeline for PNE's Osmajic if he is found guilty of racially abusing Burnley's Hannibal at the weekend

A good player but PNE would be wise to be shot of him, he's bad news and can't stay out of trouble

A ban for him is not going to happen in time for Saturday though is it?

Luke Williams has left Swansea, not sure if he's been sacked but I think he has
Sacked, their Chairman said "Ultimately, that has led us to conclude a change is required in order to bring about an improvement in our showings on the pitch."

He's only done it because he didn't want to face the forum they got tomorrow, alot of fans want to vent their frustration and now because of that it's been cancelled, clearly didn't want to face the wrath of the fans

Don't know about that but doing shots with the fan's Colemanesqe probably?
I guess you're right!
If there was no fans forum I guarantee LW would be taking charge of their next game, a from what I've read they are ecstatic he's gone but still unhappy because Alan Sheehan is interim and wanted him gone aswell

Championship is weaker this year…however, the quality of the play off teams is higher than the year we were in it. Two of Leeds, Burnley, Sheff U and Sunderland will be there.

Sunderland have a very decent side.
