It won't beI would imagine the process is likely under way already. I think by christmas all three may be approved.

I'm beginning to think I might even be able to use my Idles tickets in March!
edit: it's May! quids in!
It'll be sound.Got tickets for Leeds millennium square. It's outdoors for fucks sake it's got to be on!
Read somewhere that the extra trial they are doing won't affect the approval in the UKMight be?
Government asks regulator to approve supply of Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine
The government has formally asked the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency to evaluate whether supply of Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine can be authorised.www.gov.uk
You ok Rich?I genuinely think I wouldn't have survived another year of living with this. My physical and mental health are in the gutter right now.
Thank Science for brilliant Scientists.
Bang on but look at what science are saying about Brexit!!!I’ll whisper it quietly but one area the government has done well in was the early/pre acquisitions of various (6/7) vaccines. It put us in a decent place whoever succeeded in rolling out first.
Still hoping for the AZ/Oxford vaccine though as it will be a National/International game changer in respect of cost/storage/transportation

Investment mainly - they are concerned we won’t get itWhats that mate ?
I'd rather somebody who has a clue what they're talking about, tbhBecause all he is is doom and gloom, would rather have someone more optimistic and positive on

Just had to collect my daughter from nursery as she had a temperature of 38.7.
She was absolutely fine when I dropped her off this morning, but apparently ‘wasn’t herself’ as the morning went and then they checked her temperature.
Got a test booked for 12:30.

In shocking news turns out he was talking bollocks again. The Chief Exec of our regulator said it makes no difference as European law still applies until January 1st.UK able to speed up vaccine approval 'because of Brexit', claims health secretary
Dr June Raine, chief executive of British regulator the MHRA, is asked whether the UK no longer being part of the EU made any difference to the speed the regulator was able to complete the authorisation.
She says the regulator has been able to authorise the supply of the vaccine using provisions under European law which exist until 1 January.
I read something about this. It was to do with the US only accepting data from tests that take place in the US so it would only delay approval there. They said the timescale to approval in the EU and UK wouldn't be impacted.I'd rather somebody who has a clue what they're talking about, tbh
Hope alls ok. There’s so much going around at this time of year, fingers crossed nothing serious
I'll happily wait for the Oxford one if they push through the idea to get the union flag on it, I don't just want to prevent disease when I can have an injection of B
One of the things I've been impressed with is the speed of testing. We've had to do similar three times now (most recent on Sunday) and we had the test booked for within the hour with the results coming through overnight. Hope all goes well for you
What’s that group faz?Ian Blackford telling the commons that 10 members of the Excluded UK group have recently committed suicide. Fucking awful.
Group of people excluded from financial help because they won't have been trading long enough to get the self employed financial help. Basically have fallen through the cracks. Sunak seems to want to pretend they don't exist. What’s that group faz?
That is awful thanks for explainingGroup of people excluded from financial help because they won't have been trading long enough to get the self employed financial help. Basically have fallen through the cracks. Sunak seems to want to pretend they don't exist.
TragicThat is awful thanks for explaining
Absolutely tragic and unforgivable. I get how people fell through the cracks when they were rushing things in but we're months down the line now and these things have been flagged up repeatedly. No excuse at this stage.Group of people excluded from financial help because they won't have been trading long enough to get the self employed financial help. Sure she'll be fine, as you'll no doubt know nurseries are full of all sorts of bugs.Just had to collect my daughter from nursery as she had a temperature of 38.7.

A friend managed that just about, first time. Reckon they won;t have a chance if they have to do it again, now their son knows what's coming!you have to administer the test yourself to anyone under 3. That’s going to be a joy......
UK able to speed up vaccine approval 'because of Brexit', claims health secretary
As he continues his morning broadcast round, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has claimed Brexit helped the UK become the first country in the world to have a clinically authorised vaccine.
He tells Times Radio: "Until earlier this year we were in the European Medicines Agency (EMA), because of Brexit we've been able to make a decision to do this based on the UK regulator, a world-class regulator, and not go at the pace of the Europeans, who are moving a little bit more slowly.
"We do all the same safety checks and the same processes, but we have been able to speed up how they're done because of Brexit."

Yeah, but we haven't left yet! Yeah, but Thalidomide!
It really shows a lot when we finally have some good news and people try to dismantle it to suit their obsessive agenda.
This is great news!
I mean getting the vaccine a week or two early is great, not convinced it’s worth destroying our entire economy and security apparatus for, but it’s nice.
Just say it... Come on... I know you want to!
And if it does come back positive I assume we’ll have to do it again for our 2 month old, that’ll be even more fun!
