What is not following the narrative? Not being able to process that there’s a global pandemic that has killed millions of people?
And nothing to do with the millions around the world who’ve died over the last 18 months. The MSM narrative is fear. Fear sells. feel good stories to not make front page news.
The MSM narrative is fear. Fear sells. feel good stories to not make front page news. Do you remember when deaths and cases dropped that dint make front page news
Lets look at yesterday. papers pushing news that we need to close pubs and hospitality again.
And nothing to do with the millions around the world who’ve died over the last 18 months.
I posted examples in this very thread yesterday as it was obvious that's how it would be spun.
You can't see things you don't want to. It's very strange.
And nothing to do with the millions around the world who’ve died over the last 18 months.
So that gives media and gov figures the OK to lie ?
As far as I can see you posted two.
One of which was the DM. The other was an unnamed source.
As I said, every semi decent source says died with, not of

I pointed out the same about the fuel crisis which was whipped up by the media as well.
Only thing with this is that it's amazingly good timing just as there was some pressure on the government.
Very alarming is that.....its going to get increasingly difficult to argue against some of the anti-vax movements by suggesting they're being fed mis-information while all the MSM are pedalling it too.....its quickly becoming a fucking alarmist panic driven farce
So
Any thoughts on Omicron being 30% milder than the initial virus of which the vast vast majority of us are protected from?
Seems to have been swerved
What ever became of the video footage early on from China of people collapsing in the street
Everything from China has gone silent. That in itself is just creepy. I genuinely have no idea what the situation is there.
Keep looking on the t'internet at news outlets to see how scary they could spin things.
I don't doubt that there are some outlets spinning it as 'died of Omicron' and not from. The Daily Mail being one, and potentially others too.
What I'm saying is that any half decent media outlet is reporting it correctly. That's the vast majority.
You're actually doing some spin yourself! You've picked out a couple of sources, a very small minority, and spun it as 'the media are lying to us and spinning the narrative!'
They have reported this one Omicron death in the same way that all Covid deaths are reported which is 'deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid test'. They never say died of Covid.
I can't read what I can't see. I haven't seen any that say that.
What I'm saying is that any half decent media outlet is reporting it correctly
Which was milder than delta too ? The original varient that is ? Or is that not correctSo we're all at panic stations for something that's 30% less severe than what we're all at least double jabbed against.
this reaction at the minute stinks

It will be interesting to see the spread, America reported yesterday that 80% of cases were vaccinated and a third of that boosted.
How is a vaccine pass going to make much difference IF that trend carries on?
The issue I've seen mentioned by people who seem to check out as knowing what they are on about and not people trying to whip up a frenzy is that the increased transmission more than offsets the reduced severity. That potentially means that overall the number of hospitalisations increases.Any thoughts on Omicron being 30% milder than the initial virus of which the vast vast majority of us are protected from?

To be honest I find the situation in Italy much better compared to the UK.Looking at France.....I'd say they'll probably make jack shit of difference....

The UK was one of the hardest hit in the first wave. The countries that got his the hardest in the first wave have a greater natural immunity going forward. So add on to that a successful vaccine program and it makes things even better
Science is wonderful.
I'm talking specifically about hospitalisation from covid in this instance. The key thing is, how many are seriously ill BECAUSE of Omicron and how many die BECAUSE of Omicron.
The UK was one of the hardest hit in the first wave.
