Hasn’t been a couple of weeks since it was here yet it’s too early to tellCould be very good news. Let’s just hope this is repeated across the country. My main concern about the article is that it mentions Northampton has above average vaccination/booster rates which may well have contributed to reduced hospitalisations.
Will some of the major cities with poor vaccination rates have the same outcome ? Fingers crossed they will but logic says probably not....only time will tell
If you ever wanted the question the accuracy of a story then consider this one.Said last night il stay off this thread but had a change of heart.
Il just post the good news, then fuckoff again until the next good news article
So heres today's
Rising Omicron cases not being matched by hospitalisations
Brackley had experienced one of the highest Omicron case rates in the country, but admissions at Northampton Hospital (pictured) have not matched the surge.www.dailymail.co.uk
Also doesn't appear to account for the lag between cases and hospitalisations but let's hope it's right despite thatIf you ever wanted the question the accuracy of a story then consider this one.
Brackley’s local general hospital is 11 miles away in Banbury. Northampton General Hospital is approx 23 miles away, with John Radcliffe 23.5 miles. If there was a surge of admissions then they wouldn’t be going to Northampton from there.

Oh, I had 17 heart attacks and was visited by three festive ghosts too.
Had mine at 9:20 this morning. Don’t even have the sore arm yet. It’s gonna come out of nowhere and I’ll suddenly feel shit won’t I?
I had mine at 10:30 and the sore arm has been coming all day slowly but exactly the same as before when it was the only symptom.Had mine at 9:20 this morning. Don’t even have the sore arm yet. It’s gonna come out of nowhere and I’ll suddenly feel shit won’t I?

State of this country - on its knees because of all the testing for something people don’t know they have unless they do the actual testing for it…and even then it’s for something absolutely mild
It really is a country of wimps
Mate you're a fucking fanny who cries while he wanks so let's not call other people wimps hey
Don’t knock it, my friend.
Interesting thread from a South African, suggestion that it might have a low Omicron hospitalisation and death rate due to the scale of its previous waves, 250k excess deaths in SA
Weepy wank as it’s known...usually over the ex that got away
My daughter has been told the restaurant she works at has to close till Boxing Day at the earliest . Apparently the manager tested positive along with their partner . From what I can gather they can’t send anyone in as a relief manager as that breaks the covid bubble .

On pretty much every occasion all the headlines have only mentioned the worse case scenario.I tackled a Sage Covid modeller on Twitter and it was quite the revelation

How the BBC lost its way on Covid
I have been a BBC journalist for many years, and in that time I have been committed to impartiality and the corporation’s Reithian values to inform and educate. My despair about the BBC’s one-sided coverage of the pandemic though has been steadily growing for some time. And in early December, as...www.spectator.co.uk

Magazine that exists solely on edgy scientifically unsound commentary upset edgy scientifically unsound commentary isn’t given enough attention during a pandemic.
Speccy has called just about everything wrong since this started. I seem to recall them saying it would all be over by April 2020.
