There's no perfect solution that will 100% guarantee nobody getting covid. Its about finding a balance where mitigations have minimal impact on peoples everyday lives, especially if this is going to be around long term.
Why are vulnerable people advised to avoid the unvaccinated if it makes no difference to their chances of catching covid? What is your solution to this, the vulnerable are permanently locked down? Personally if we have to make a choice between locking down the vulnerable or those who refuse to get a jab with no good reason I know which group I'm locking down.
I don't want the vulnerable to be locked down either to be fair. I just think you are never going to be ever avoid it.
People are always going to die, that can't be avoided either sadly.
At what point is it just let's live as normal as possible and accept it?
Is it serious that people have died and will die? Of course it is, but look how paranoid people now are about a headache or runny nose which would have barely been an issue 3 years ago.
I'm the same, I currently test every day even though there's nothing wrong with me because I've been in contact with somebody who had a headache for a day.
