In the middle of two but yes most use Limoges. Only an hour away and better flights. Not used it myself but picked the wife up from there at the start of the year after her mother died. Lots of cheap parking spaces. And directly over a single road from the terminal.

Yeah I’ve flown there plenty of times. It’s much better now than it used to be.
My parents and my uncle purchased a run down house for dirt cheap about 18 years ago, my uncle knew a few Irish builders in the area so did it up cheaply too.
I think the nearest city is perigueux.

We're 18km from Montmorillon. Found the right house on the riverbank at Montmorillon but has just come too early. I want to do all the work myself. It is going to be the last house I ever do unless the kids talk me into helping them. Just €70,000 with a large river bank and an acre of land. 4 bedrooms. Might wait for things to start moving again then put a silly offer in.
