I have no intention of travelling to skeggy.

But there were people ignoring the don't make unneccessay journeys guidelines.
Imagine how they're going to interpret this given the ambiguity of it?

No? You must be getting mixed up with someone else.

From what Boris said and the article you posted, what is stopping me and other people in my household driving to a park 200 miles away to exercise?

The police who keep pulling people over and fining them.

Before this evening's speech I agree. But things have changed in the last couple of hours.

Yesterday I could only exercise once a day. From Wednesday I can drive somewhere and exercise as many times as I want.

Short distance travel only for exercise can be made to be go 200 miles?

We have had a lot of it in Cumbria. Idiots all over the place. The police stopped someone and gave them a fine. They then tried to continue with their journey to buy a puppy. They got another fine and escorted back up north.

Yes as previously I wasn't able to drive for exercise. Now I can and nothing has been said of a limit of how far I can travel on the road.

k or other green space to walk?
We advise you to stay local and use open spaces near to your home where possible – do not travel unnecessarily.

You can still go to the park for outdoor exercise once a day but only by yourself or within your household, not in groups.

We ask you to keep two metres apart from others outside your household at all times when outdoors.

You should avoid places where it may be hard to follow the guidelines. If you live in an area where it’s difficult to stay two metres apart when exercising, you can travel to a more open space to do so – but should only do this if absolutely necessary, and should not meet up with people from outside your household.

If you have been keeping up you would know it is to do with households and not family. If you live together there is no extra risk unless those not in your household join you.

What is difficult to understand any of this?

He said "you can drive to other destinations" which is about as vague as it gets. If it's crystal clear to you, can you clarify for those of us who are hard of understanding please?

And now

“And from this Wednesday, we want to encourage people to take more and even unlimited amounts of outdoor exercise.

You can sit in the sun in your local park, you can drive to other destinations, you can even play sports but only with members of your own household.”

Sorry. From Wednesday. Now I’m not a qualified difference spotter but that sounds different to me.

I don't know but recently you seem to have had a beef with the country or the people in it. Is Germany allowed to be successful without being compared to the Nazis as that gentleman did?

Can’t believe I’m using what Boris Johnson has said as an argument that I believe to be true. Can’t believe I’ve been dragged back into a irrelevant debate. Can’t believe it’s still going on.

'People in England can travel to different destination'
That's definitely different to 'essential travel only'

Can you travel further like many on here are trying to make out?

Travel stays exactly the same. Only if necessary. Not the 200 miles like has been made out.

He didn't say what you had to do at other destinations and he didn't say anything about what the limit of that journey to be, or that it should be local.
Skeggy is all yours Clint.

So what your saying is that the diplomat has a point?

You just don't like it so try to make it all about the comment about Hitler. Yes, slightly distasteful, but the essence of it is correct.

I don’t know. And that’s the point really. Posting old info won’t change that. We’ll find out more tomorrow.

As for, was it one person, saying we couldn’t travel short distances to exercise before. They were incorrect.
