In his defence he was referring to “lazy teachers” the actual meaning of faggot is a lazy indolent person I believe

Even for him that is really weak

Anyway even after the 50 page document it's still not very clear.

Thought I’d give a more considered reply without it being hijacked...
Your employer has a duty of care to ensure your welfare as well as the students. They have to provide conditions of work that keep you ‘safe’ even if you are remotely working - and that includes a reasonable amount of workload. Do you have a union rep in your school? It would be worth both of you contacting them and sharing your experience. Is your head of department approachable? (They should be if they are a decent one)
The people doing the whizzy, fancy online learning stuff - just let them get on with it. Don’t try and compete with them or feel under pressure to do the same. There will always be people like that - most with the best of intentions for the kids, and a few that simply do it to make themselves look good at the expense of others.
Take care and there’s always some ‘lefties’ on here to chat to if it gets too much.
Oh look, the professionally offended labour wankers are out in force. Ooh he called someone a faggot,so what. Man up ffs you bunch of girls. Virtue signaling leftie tossers.
ExactlySome interesting stuff in there but also some concerning gaps and lack of detail in places.

He's middle class as fuck as wellDon't you get it? You are everything you hate.
You claim everyone is permanently offended, a a snowflake.
Take a look in the mirror, there's only one person who is offended and throwing an almighty tantrum.
Calm down snowflake.
Thanks for all of that, head of dept said as much this morning. It’s just a perfect storm of things and with everything remote I have no means of perceiving what is and isn’t standard or excessive. I just don’t feel able to do what I think is the minimum.

Have you taken on the spirit of Astute?I think not what have I said that’s not serious? The mistake I make is to keep visiting this car crash rather than leave you all to fight each other - any attempt at serious discussion gets nowhere
No it isn't.
Don't be absurd.

Yep it seems to me he's become everything he claims to hate. He’s also a massive virtue signaller, constantly going on about how he doesn’t attend games.
And he’s in a cushy overpaid job with extra time off thanks to unionisation.
The self loathing must be intense.

I like his approach today- he’s sick of taking a daily beating & has no way of sticking up for the govt any more so is starting out on the wind up right from opening bell, get a bit of ‘revenge’, admirable enough & It’s working so far with people replying, but the argument is flawed by referring to it being a mistake coming on- he spends his entire life on here and is the most addicted poster of all
For the first time in 8 years I have put a user on ignore-it looks a lot more sane
This was used when defending a coventry player for using the term on this very forum

Well it was wrong then and it is wrong now.
That is not what he meant and you know it, but you defend it.
Where did you get that meaning from? It’s actual meaning is a bundle of sticks, anything that followed isn’t the actual meaning. In his defence he was referring to “lazy teachers” the actual meaning of faggot is a lazy indolent person I believe

I've stayed out of the politics so far, but will make the following observations.
Keir Starmer has come across as a reasonable leader (profess to know little about him)
Boris is in a no win position. Clearly he won't be dealing with any of the detail (down to others), but whoever is in charge of leading the country is going to be criticised for either messing up the economy or causing the death of additional people. Easy time to be in opposition, which is why I am glad Starmer isn't taking cheap pot shots. If ever there was a time for all sides to be working together, it's now. it's not time for Brexit 2. Also find it interesting how Scotland, Wales etc are trying to establish a different agenda, which the cynic in me thinks they are trying to accentuate their national identity, rather than all working together. Not a time to play politics for politics sake.
Or they're trying to protect their people from needless deaths
Faggot comment by true coventrianWhere out of interest is the homophobia I must have missed this in all the excitement

Thicko. I got 8. Well GCSE’s but all CSE equivalent grades.Definitely got a issue with his own lack of formal education.
He needs to deal with it. Sounds like he's done ok for himself.
And I say this as someone who left school with 4 cses.
