What's the latest on lockdown there etc?

The stag still wants to go to Budapest which is supposed to be in four weeks!

I keep trying to search for Hungarian news in English but there isn't really anything of any use!

August, and it's in Mallorca. That's not even a joke.

At present he reckons there's more chance of the stag happening than the wedding.

If the wedding gets postponed until next year he said we will have another stag next year regardless. Let's hope for both!

There's a photo of Johnson going round on social media with his head in his hands looking a bit upset along with a nauseating message basically saying 'leave him alone, look how upset he is at this situation, he's just doing his best'

Don't think this was a number 10 thing. If it was they would if got higher profile mps to share than the likes of lucy allan and maria caulfield. It's 3 morons retweeting something one of them saw

Nah too easily disproved and it brought questions straight back to to.number as per the midday number briefing.

Also the Tories were trying to claim Starmer had misquoted Johnson etc yesterday so this would be counterproductive.

Nothing new.
reports of new rules for Budapest apparently on Monday.
as for foreigners arriving and things like self-quarantining maybe some news from National Govt next week .
i will keep you posted. You can also get news alerts across facebook from the British embassy if you sign up.

It’s why he doesn’t show charisma yet-he is used to competently questioning but without the cameras to think of. If he can combine the two over this term his ratings will go up in ‘looking prime ministerial’

You need to look at weekly trends more, was 620+ last Thursday, we’re on a downward trend and things will get better over the next few weeks! Be positive..... cases have also dropped with more testing

I’m optimistic but we were 3 weeks later than Italy and Spain and not as severe in the lockdown and are coming out at a similar time. What’s the success criteria? Not 20000 deaths any more as we have flown past that

Give it two weeks and we will be back to more infections and more deaths as more of us go back out. Politicians don’t give a toss anymore. They just want people back to work for the money, if any of us die we’re just a number to them.

I don't think they will now they've eased these measures unfortunately. We all Seen the pictures of public transport


Next week will be a big test with the hot weather that's on the way as well as some big manufacturers returning to work.

That was last Friday (626), last Thursday was 5,614 new cases and 539 deaths.

Hopefully we see this trend continue for the next couple of weeks but I can't see how we're not going to have a spike then. Question is how big will that spike be.

I’ve said what conditions I would accept and at least making it below 100 deaths a day would be a start. I also want more biological evidence about transmission, immunity and reliable mass testing.

Greece is nearly reopening as of June 1st-because they’ve never had even 10 deaths in one day. Stop acting like opposing lifting the restrictions means I want endless lockdown, I hate remote teaching and want it over more than most
