That's an interesting choice by Nissan this morning

Bit counter intuitive re complications around cross border processes .
Thoughts?

Good news potentially. As much as I hate the Mackems I don't want to see them lose their jobs.
If for no other reason than it stops them potentially moving here.

Rachael Venables (@rachaelvenables) Tweeted: A contract tracer who was meant to be starting his shift at 8am tells me it's been a 'complete shambles' so far. He was only emailed at 10.30 last night to be told the system was going live anyway, he still hasn't received his password to logon and the website has crashed. @LBC

Hancock definitely hasn't been sent to do the media rounds 'launching' a track and trace system that isn't ready that staff weren't told out until last night and can't logon to as a distraction from Cummings.

As for the Cummings saga has any considered that this might just be a deliberately engineered strategy?

Yes. FP has repeatedly said it's to induce the public in to ignoring lock down to implement herd immunity through the back door.

Yes.

edit... but why use him. Would have thought someone more 'expendable' would have more likely been the person to use. Also higher profile, a lot of people still didn't know who this guy was until a week ago.

It's pritty pathetic really, we have all this time to learn new skills, spend with family (within the same households, of course), get stuff done around the house etc, yet they would rather argue with strangers on the internet.

I think we've found a new nickname for Patel - Priti Pathetic.

A couple on here have been close to 1,000 posts a month on this topic alone - most don’t want arguments either just mutual admiration

In which case given your frothing on the issue why have you fallen for it hook line and sinker

Not sure how I can have fallen for it when I am saying it could be a tactic, but anyway- no matter what the origins of the sorry affair, it is disgusting & disrespectful, and yet more lies and deceit. Doesn't matter why they did it, they did do it- or are we now saying that anytime anyone does something thats blatantly not right we should excuse on the basis of "its ok, it was just a cunning scheme".

Anyway, I can see why they'd do it alright, but I still don't see why they'd use him and why they'd do it the way they did it.

Who won the popular vote in the states?

Irrelevant. Not going to waste time in states they've got no chance of overturning. Just concentrate on those few important swing states and with the ridiculous electoral college system it makes all the difference.

Not that I'm taking anything from the fact Clinton was an awful choice and she royally screwed herself as well going around the country like she was on a victory lap.

Why are you offended? Just saying there's better things to do then whinge about cummings for the 5th straight day.

Are they any good?

Resistance bands, not fences :)

Not like working out at the gym but they're decent enough.
I'm not a body builder or anything and I've just finished my work out but I'm not feeling the same pain I would after using free weights/machines. Though it wouldn't surprise me if I'm doing it wrong!

For £20 plus quid I'd say they're worth a go.

I'm not offended. Put exclamation marks at the end of both sentences to indicate I was half joking but definitely not offended.

To be fair I am popping the question tomorrow.

Then I'll come back on here.
