This thread is insufferable.

I am apolitical, and I fail to see anyone from any party in this mess, who would have handled the crisis in a way to please all the keyboard experts.

Theirs cunts on the left as well as the right, not just in politics but also in the world of keyboard warriors.

The first stage of lockdown ending is likely to be sections of society going back to work to get some of the economy going, while social activities will still be banned, which I think will disappoint a lot of people.
Yeah pubs and restaurants will be the very last places to be opened back up.

The left always scream death to Tory leaders - same with thatcher and even many of them towards Blair - drag to to The Hague and out him in prison - some are now suggesting a national holiday to celebrate Johnson’s death

The left are always going to act like this as they are always in the minority and always show their true colours in times like this

If people show respect ad dignity they will get the same from me - if they don’t they won’t
Some? A few nutters on Twitter. Using your logic you must have thrown a party the night the Tories and DUP celebrated denying the emergency services the pay rise they clearly deserve. Was Dom there too.

I didn’t vote Tory in 2015 Tony you did oh and in 2017 as well - when did you go full UKIP?

Also as this forum now seems to have become a small band of left wing frothers venting their spleen perhaps one of you can explain the labour policy on politicians pay

The Blair government voted several times for inflation busting pay rises and then an independent body was set up

In 2015 it suggested a £7,000 pay rise in austerity Britain for MPs

Many labour MPs said it sent out a wrong message. The SNP MPs gave the pay rise to charity. However, despite the indignation I do not think any Labour MP did the same or indeed in 2017 when the rise was around 3% - there may be some but I can’t find any

I'm old enough to remember when now wasn't the time for political point scoring.

Virtually everyone has wished Johnson all the best and yet all you want to do while his life is in danger is stick the knife into previous labour governments. You are an absurd and ridiculous caricature at times.

Would Labour's policy of investing in the NHS have helped or hindered the efforts?

Just been told I have to use half my holiday allowance by June. Also the right for me to buy holiday has been taken away.

I know there are bigger issues in the world right now but it's a bummer.

It's almost like the last several years of absurd hate from the right aimed at Corbyn has passed you by.

He’s been accused on here in the last eeek of lying regarding his illness, lazy and apparently having a personal vendetta against the NHS

Are they actually allowed to do that? As far as I am aware they are only able to make you use holiday that you have 'earnt' through work.

Like with any Government it would depend where the money was focussed...services or multi layered management or even the massive loans that need servicing from Labour introduced PSI initiatives.

I think they are all shit so don’t try and engage me in a political point scoring exercise.

Germany has 29 ICU beds per 1000 people.

Fance has 11, Italy has 12, Spain has 10.

We have 6.

Haven’t France and Italy used German beds for some patients?

I did in 2015 and voted Labour in 2017 so you’re wrong. You did vote Tories in 2017 and guess what, the vote happened after that general election. Hence the Tories and DUP celebrated shamefully together. Must have been a proud moment for you. Never went full UKIP as you know so why you pretend I did is typical from someone who described Ferage as “The Man”.

Yes, but not one person has wished death on him, as much as you want us to.

Others accused you of the same yesterday

Yes they did, falsely.

If you can point out where I wished death on him then I will apologise.

I just pointed out some his failings/errors, which I'm sure you can appreciate does not equate to wanting him to die.

So we were all wrong - ok

Tony that’s like saying it was a proud moment for all Labour supporters in 2009 when Jacque Smith denied the Police their pay award from the previously binding Police Arbitration panel, and for the first time ever the Police tried to change law to be able to strike.

That arguments bullshit, as they all fuck over the emergency services when it suits them.

Er, yes.

If bringing up someone's errors means you want them to die, then I assume you're absolutely desperate for Bakayoko and Biamou to croak it, and probably would quite like Robins to as well.

I have seen some of that stuff. But I have yet to see anyone on here say anything like that. So why go so nuts at everyone else on here? Not one single person is not hoping he recovers, which seems to be annoying you even more for some twisted reason.

It was mooted, so what? It's not unreasonable to speculate that. As I recall it was only really RoS who last night wished him well. Anyway, deflecting as usual.

Which European countries were prepared?

Germany, Slovakia and Poland were better prepared.
Slovakia and Poland went into lock.down quiet early.
If it's transpires that we should of, I can give the government a bit of leeway on that because of the uniqueness of the situation.
The fact Germany had almost 5 times as many ICU beds per 100,000 is on them and is unforgivable.

But many other people who are not Tory supporters yesterday formed that same conclusion as me

You must understand there's a time to bring up what you perceive as errors and that time probably isn't when someone is seriously ill.
