See if Simms was off as rumoured it would make sense to sign him as an experienced player.
Without Simms going tho just leaves us way to much depth especially as I think Mason and Haji will be playing together and rotation in between the ST and LW roles.
Will say tho if we wanted a godden replacement 1/1 we should have gone for Langstaff. Feel he would do really well here with his movement or Joe Taylor from Luton

I suppose it depends whether you see EMC/Haji as competition for that CF role. He doesn’t get free pass, but also unsure why he is the butt of a load of criticism when he’s been involved in some decent performances. It’s pretty clear he is not the issue in this team.
If people watched football enough to understand it just a little, they’d have seen EMC would be okay and Bassette will too.
