Is a must win for sureMust win . Early six pointer this . Oxford are no push over and look good both in attack and defence.
Well for Oxford it could be a literal 6 pointer.Must win . Early six pointer this . Oxford are no push over and look good both in attack and defence.
That all areIs a must win for sure
Christ alive, it’s been one game. They’re on a high and doing well. We are stuttering. Wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t win TBH.
Can’t see anything but a comfortable home win.
Dovin
MVE Lati Kitching Bidwell
Eccles Torp
Sakamoto Rudoni Wright
Simms
Few chunks available in 10 and FZ but overall sales looking decent our end. With about 1500 of them I'd expect 25000 at least to start off the season!
Team can’t fail but perform with that surelyComfortably more than that. Even with 1500 of them, it will be pushing 29,000.
Put Palmer in for Allen and that would be my team too. Palmer is better at making goals than Allen. Bidwell is more solid and dependable than Dasilva but I am hoping we will be on the front foot most the night.
He's more of a central midfielder than Jamie fucking Allen!!!!If you think Palmer is a central midfielder then you're beyond help
Allen didn’t play well Saturday. But he was asked to play a role that he isn’t suited too, he’s a 8/10 mold - basically run about doing doggies type midfielder - NOT someone to take ball and start patterns off/dictate play etc. He's more of a central midfielder than Jamie fucking Allen!!!!
Mind you, so is my granny
100% disagree. Palmer is frustrating, but has the quality to unlock defences, (as in his assist for Simms on Tuesday) he also has decent strength on the ball.Allen didn’t play well Saturday. Palmer is just a luxury I’m afraid. The bad outweighs the good. We can’t afford luxuries.
Club expecting 27,000
For the first time ever Palmer played the simple ball, the way he was facing.100% disagree. Palmer is frustrating, but has the quality to unlock defences, (as in his assist for Simms on Tuesday) he also has decent strength on the ball.
Allen just shouldn't be anywhere near our first team, regardless of any injury issues we may have.
To play Allen instead of Eccles last Saturday was a shockingly bad decision. (Unless Eccles was carrying a knock, in which case Lats should of started)
The fact that Allen and palmer are in the last year of their contract and, as far as we know, haven't been offered new deals, probably tells us all we need to know.

I know it's first home game of the season so a decent crowd is always likely, but that's a cracking effort for a Friday night game on TV
For the first time ever Palmer played the simple ball, the way he was facing.
When he does it another half a dozen times,I will start to believe the penny has finally dropped.
Think its 3000 in the away end now , might be wrongi dont think it'll drop below 27k much all year. Most clubs will bring the full allocation of around 2.5k as well
Yes piss poor imo, just over an hour up the road and one of their closest games of the season.really shocking if they can't sell out the first away game of the season when it's a nice easy trip as well.
Away end holds 3K this season and i'd say about only about 8 teams will probably fill that. We've lost 4 big away followins with blues going down and Leicester/Ipswich/ Saints going up.i dont think it'll drop below 27k much all year. Most clubs will bring the full allocation of around 2.5k as well
Yeah that was one of the best atmospheres for a night game that i can rememberHopefully something similar to that very enjoyable Friday night game at home to Peterborough a few years ago. Some very nice higher tempo, counter attacking football on show that night.
