On a Friday night in school holidays, probably considered and inconvenience. What home gates do they get?

Didn't they bring over 3000 last year?

so after beating them 6-2 last season, now we're going to be lucky to get a draw??? what have they done to make such a big improvement, or is it just promo bounce?

Norwich have conceded 5 in their two so I’m not convinced Oxford are world beaters.

regardless, if we want top 6, we have to beat promoted teams at home.

Says over 27,000 expect but I think there will be loads of empty seats as people are still on holiday.

First home game is always a lower than normal crowd because of school holidays. Why do you think it'll suddenly buck that trend? How is that 'poor'?
The oxford fans mate, we were talking about the oxford fans

Have they signed many decent players since we played them last?
Signed Matt Phillips and Sibley from Derby, maybe some others. I think their manager has got them playing a different way which took a while to implement but was so successful it got them on a great run into the play offs. It'll be a difficult game tomorrow, definitely more so than the cup game.

i thought we'd lose to Stoke, but confident we'll win tomorrow. Can see a bit of a fortress Ricoh style thing happening again this season.

people talking about "form" and previous results are mental, we've played one league game and a mickey mouse cup game where loads make changes. them winning their first game and us losing is completely irrelevant.

win by 2 goals

Doesn't even matter if it's the school holidays or not as the next day is Saturday.

I'll be poor if it isn't sold out

If they are only selling 1500 for this, I wonder how many hundreds they'll sell for the cup game?

At least people won't need to be moved from their seats!

Lets be honest if we are the play off / auto contenders that a good number of fans are touting us as, we should be beating a team that are nowhere near that

Despite us putting 6 past them in the cup last year, I reckon this'll be a fairly difficult game. They've changed their style since and are on a great run if you take late last season into account, and of course got a great result against Norwich.

If we're looking for top 6, this is a game we should be asserting ourselves and showing our quality. Wouldn't surprise me if its a tight 1-0 but a win is a win.

WLADITT belted out so hard they have to check the structural integrity of the place after the game. 4-0 win. Simms hattrick. Wright the other. Sakamoto and Rudoni a brace of assists each. Sheaf miraculously recovers for a second half cameo. CM marquee signing unveiled at half time, wearing the away kit. Doug King gives everyone a free pint. Sky commentators noshing us off as promotion favourites.

Tomorrow’s gonna be great.
