I don’t think we sat back. They pushed us back and we were shatteredWe really need to play attacking football for 90 like we used to. And stop trying to sit back and invite pressure.
also still baffles me how bas did not get any minutes the other day yet was ready to come on
Are you saying Robins told Sheaf to hammer a pass into Torp ?Expectation at 1-1 to at least get to penalties with a couple of minutes left
Under zero pressure no excuse for that passIt was a terrible ball from Sheaf
Sheaf should not have played that pass into Torp, he could see he had two men in close proximity. Allen had played a couple of tired passes before the equaliser. Before that Allen had a good game
Are you serious? He constantly gave the ball away, one which led to the equalizer? He loses his man. He was inefective and a liability which cost us. he needed a game, fine, but should have been substituted early to give Sheaf more minutes.
Simms looked lower energy than Jeb BushI’d be tempted to start with Bassete on Saturday
That's you off the guest list.Shut it fatso
They had spent 85 minutes closing a premier league side down , jeez cut them some slackHe left the most knackered players on
Torp a starter at cam?
Sheaf had been on 5 minutes no excuses his pass was fucking stupid and shitI don’t think we sat back. They pushed us back and we were shattered
I'd have left Bassette on. Having his way. Been our best player.
Yep Wright missed an open goalI will come in with a negative
we have to start fucking burying our chances
He played well. Means he will be on the benchI’d be tempted to start with Bassete on Saturday
Allen tired a bit but he didn't look out of place at all. If Torp and Mason-Clark gave the same energy level when they came on, we would have seen it out. Torp switched off for first goal and then lost the ball for the second, albeit a poor pass from Sheaf.
Allen broke up play really well, pressed well and passed accurately. It was only the closing stages where he made a couple of mistakes.
He deserves far more respect than he is given by some.
Seriously what is peoples problem with Allen, both he and Eccles were excellent tonight.
Has to Start on Saturday, but knowing Mark Robins.
I'm saying at 1-1 we did fuck all to try and kill the game when they were all over us.Are you saying Robins told Sheaf to hammer a pass into Torp ?
Really struggling to understand your line of thoughts here
Sheaf gave the ball away for the goal ‘but aside from that I’m not sure what you were watching. Are you serious? He constantly gave the ball away, one which led to the equalizer? He loses his man. He was inefective and a liability which cost us. he needed a game, fine, but should have been substituted early to give Sheaf more minutes.
He left the most knackered players on
Bollocks 2 shit passes from us won them the gameHe replaced like for like !
Two touches of class won Spurs the game, they were lucky tonight
whilst it’s no excuse what so ever, the idiot spurs fan was blowing kisses and giving 2 fingers to the Cov fans as they left. One of their party (Australian guy) asked the Cov fans what had happened on the way back into the lounge and went on to say this person (spurs fan who was pushed) will also be banned from sitting with the directors in the future. Bit of a shock to the system when they are not surrounded by tourists by the sounds of itSpurs fan in the directors section sat by Daniel Levy just pushed over by a Cov fan and split his head open. Que the tweet from the club tomorrow about the behaviour of fans
Eric Cantona, I presume? For me, the starting place is The Hound’s to lose.
I mean Simms scored against Watford....For me, the starting place is The Hound’s to lose.
Eccles had a shoulder problem and to be honest it’s more important he’s ready to start on Saturday than AllenThe subs were logical ones to make but maybe the wrong personnel came off. I could see Allen blowing before Eccles went off for example. However they’ll know the fitness levels and if people are carrying a knock etc so hard to criticise too much
they spent pretty much an entire match outplaying Tottenham, you are massively overrreacting. Again.
Should’ve took off Allen instead of RudoniAllen was completely fucked but not bringing another midfielder in meant we could t take him off. It’s already biting us on the arse
CluelessAre you serious? He constantly gave the ball away, one which led to the equalizer? He loses his man. He was inefective and a liability which cost us. he needed a game, fine, but should have been substituted early to give Sheaf more minutes.
