Allen tired a bit but he didn't look out of place at all. If Torp and Mason-Clark gave the same energy level when they came on, we would have seen it out. Torp switched off for first goal and then lost the ball for the second, albeit a poor pass from Sheaf.
Allen broke up play really well, pressed well and passed accurately. It was only the closing stages where he made a couple of mistakes.
He deserves far more respect than he is given by some.

Eccles had a shoulder problem and to be honest it’s more important he’s ready to start on Saturday than AllenThe subs were logical ones to make but maybe the wrong personnel came off.
