Makes sense. A couple of years ago was supposed to go to City v Cardiff over Christmas but it got postponed.
Didn't go to the rugby but went down after the game to meet some mates who had. Lots of faces that would have been at Cardiff had it been on,.
RFU don't approve though!

Another complicated and convoluted pre match for me.

Away again this weekend for another family event, about 3 hours away from the CBS. However it took us 5.5 hours to get here yesterday (I hate the M25).

So it means a very very early start tomorrow and me having to be semi-sensible with the drinks today. I mean it would make sense for my partner to drive back and let me enjoy today and tomorrow, but we’re already coming home two days early so I could get to the game so I’m not even daring to ask!!

Bit harsh. Young bloke living his best life travelling the world watching football. Good luck to him. Heard is a real genuine fella from a couple who follow England away.
You’d have to question the judgement of anyone who travels to another country to watch England though.

Yes, the treadmill test, but done with drugs, not a treadmill… thankfully the nurses with me were superb when I had that.
I had an injection. First session was fine, but the one to speed my heart up was 'orrible! Thought I'd just ran a bloody marathon! Mind you, they said if I wanted it to stop, just to raise my arm and they'd give me another jab to get back to normal. I braved it out till they'd finished!

Right, all packed. Got all my CCFC essentials and snacks for the car. Leaving in a couple of hours. Heading up to hotel. Double checked everything in the house and made sure the wife and kids all know what they’re doing until I get back on Sunday afternoon. All my house chores done. Got tunes for the car sorted, something upbeat and jolly, so have opted for the Smiths. Will watch the other game later with a couple of drinks (not sure who I want to win that or if I’m even bothered who wins). get to the ground early tomorrow to get in the groove early, win the game and drive back happy (isn’t that how the story ends?)

Safe travels to all the SBA travelling in today, tonight and in the morning from around the UK or foreign places.

Feel totally relaxed at the moment and it doesn't feel particularly real. Didn't expect to be here, want to enjoy the experience without thinking about the consequences too much. I did like the quick turn around attitude shift from Robins and Kelly when they said the job isn't done and they're serious about winning the thing, but for me it just feels like a bit of a free shot that we've earned. That said, the pressure must be more on 'Boro given that they were in with a real chance of auto's at one point, and have had to wait an age for the playoffs to come round.

I imagine I'll feel a lot more nervous closer to kick off, but if they go out on the pitch tomorrow and fight 100% then I'll be proud enough. It's been an incredible effort to get here and absolutely anything can happen at this point. Safe travels to all and make the most of this day!

Will be interesting to see how Boro switch after so long with nothing at stake, and ourselves having had to win pretty much every week.

Just setting off from Devon myself, lovely day for it. I’ve already burned through the league 2 playoff highlights in an attempt to manifest a repeat 😂

Yeah, me too. The nurses never stopped reassuring me all through it.

Thought I'd check the weather for tomorrow and need to choose a forecast as the met office and BBC are going toe to toe over this. Think I might go with the BBC and get my pins out.

I've brought shorts down as there was lovely sunshine in the north west this morning, cloudy and much cooler in Cov. Hope tomorrow is better

My two main hopes for tomorrow are firstly of course a win and secondly, we create the greatest ever atmosphere ever heard at the CBS Arena.

Whatever happens, I'm so very proud of the players and everyone connected to the club for what we've achieved.

Just got back from UK and watched the game this morning. I somehow managed to avoid the results while I was there. Excitement will still be fresh tomorrow.
I did overhear a conversation with a cockney accent at the airport. “ They facked up the playoffs” I left before I heard more but felt a little more confident.
